There are way too many things to do in that area/place itself. This is somewhat like the heart of Brooklyn- it's in downtown where you can shop, attend shows, get a quick bite, public transportations available (along through many lines), the DMV is right there as well. You see it all and can do so many things while you're down there. It is super convenient to me (I live in Crown Heights), I'd just hop on either the 3/4 train and get off on Atlantic Avenue-Barclay's Center I'm there. Now you can drive, it'd be a headache if you're one of those (like myself that doesn't like to pay for parking or meters- yeah I'm cheap), if I do drive I'd park in the residential area where I don't have to pay for the meters- I'll walk two or 3 blocks, I need the exercise anyway 😂 Now there are parking places from the garages to Target parking garage and other paid parking spots.
