Chan's Village — Restaurant in New York

The counter guy was very friendly and accommodating, but the prices for the meals are ridiculous! I bought a wonton soup for myself and a chicken rice soup for my Mom and it cost me $12. The soup was bland and flavorless we had to add salt to it, we didn't even finish it, it was so bad. A lady came in and ordered chicken wings and french fries and he charged her $9.50. the portions that they have are slim pickings. "This place is cash only!" To much for to little. First and last visit for me! I'll stick to my local spot, thanks...

I recently visited this Chinese restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. The service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. The food took an unusually long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold and lacked flavor. Additionally, the portions were small for the price. Overall, it was a very poor dining experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good...

Food very nasty taste. Ordered sweet and sour chicken with rice. They gave white rice which was like a ball with grease and chicken pieces were tasteless and over fried. The worst, how can people say great food. I don't think they know about Chinese food. Never will buy again from them. It was my first n will be my last. I been living in this area for many years ,should have listened to my friends..I threw the food away,...
