If I could give them 10 stars, I would!
Today, June 11, was my first time visiting, it definitely won’t be my last. From the incredible customer service to the delicious food, everything was amazing. I ordered the Mac Wrap and the Chicky’s Deluxe Sandwich. The Mac Wrap alone could easily feed two people!
Their menu was big enough to offer plenty of options without being overwhelming, and they also have a great variety of sauces available. The hot sauces weren’t just spicy, they were packed with flavor and had the perfect kick. In both meals, the chicken was juicy and tender. They were also super accommodating with my request to have the mac on the side, which I really appreciated.
I attached some pictures with the utensils for sizing reference, these portions are no joke! I spent a total of $32, and honestly, that’s a steal for the amount and quality of food I got.
Even though it’s fried food, I didn’t feel heavy or bloated afterward. Honestly, I could go for a run right after eating, which speaks volumes about the quality of their ingredients.
The owner and staff were extremely friendly and answered all my questions. While it’s not a traditional restaurant setting, the owner still took the time to check in on my table, which made the experience feel personal.
The environment was clean, comfortable, and accessible. I especially loved that they had a sink available for customers to wash their hands after eating—a thoughtful touch that shows their attention to detail.
Even though I live about 40 minutes away, I’ll gladly make the commute. The overall experience was just that good....
Read moreDelicious food and a nice little family spot! Got a Nashville chicken sandwich, chicken and tots, grilled breast and leg, mac and cheese.
The chicken was pretty great across the board. Juicy and tender.
Chicken and tots was surprsingly good! Was plated real nice with some veg and sauces on top, pretty mix of colors. Lots of crispy tots and chicken. Delicious with the garlic and herb sauce.
Nashville sandwich was flavorful, but not quite "Nashville hot". Tasted very good and still had some spice. Might have to get their hottest sauce for the real Nashville style heat (uncomfortably hot). Came on a good fresh brioche bun, could use a little toasting to keep from getting wet with sauce and add a bit of texture. Bread can make or break a good sandwich, and this one was special!
Grilled chicken had that nice cookout smokiness, lemon and herb sauce was tasty. A bit of spice on that sauce that was unexpected. It was the mildest option besides kid friendly. I thought it would just be straight up savory without the kick. I really liked it, but prob not for someone who wants no spice.
Mac and cheese was simple, creamy style - that's my preference over baked usually, but it can be hard to do right. This one didn't disappoint! Large sides are good value too.
Only minor downside was the iced tea, and I imagine the other cup drinks. Not bad, just a basic tea mix. Does the job, at least it was mixed well and not too weak/strong.
Overall, very good and want to try more of their options! Didn't even get a pic cause the food looked...
Read moreAfter reading all the stellar reviews on here, I decided to find out what the hype was about. This gets a middle of the road rating from me - the food was good, no issues there. The service was good and order filled in the time they said it would be. When i entered I wondered if this was the same place people were talking about. I was not impressed with the inside; it's a take out place with a few chairs and tables, but it's not a sit down restaurant at all. I can't imagine why anyone would sit down here to eat. I almost left when I walked in because it didn't feel right to me. I ordered the same thing everyone else does the chicken sandwich and fries, and the truth is. . . .it's a chicken sandwich and fries. The food was okay. Its the same fries you would get at a stadium or amusement park . . .with cheese on it. . .yes those fries. Also i split this sandwich with 2 other people so each person could taste, sort of doing one of those taste things you see on TV, and those 2 people - compared it to any chicken sandwich you could get anywhere including the one they like most at McD. The Peri Peri sauce, again nothing special. If you feel the need to come from far away, as some people said they did - then go right ahead. I live nearby and there is no reason I would...
