I've been meaning to write this review for a while now this place is truly a hidden gem. I could be wrong, but it seems to be a family-owned, small business, and it absolutely deserves recognition. The food here is incredibly fresh and flavorful. I have a very sensitive stomach, so I can usually tell when food has been sitting out or cooked with old grease that’s never been the case here. I eat here all the time because it’s a safe haven for me. The restaurant is always spotless, and it honestly looks like someone scrubs the place down thoroughly. Cleanliness, along with great taste, is very important to me, and this place delivers both. The mangú is made with real plantains, unlike other places that add flour. That authenticity makes a huge difference in flavor and quality. Every time I visit, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I order from here a lot and today I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and it had green mold on the bottom. Apparently they just have these sandwiches ready to go and don’t care to check them.
