Read moreMy plate was very tasty but the waitress seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered. I was initially greeted by a pleasant man behind the bar who took my order. I sat by the window away from the foot traffic. The waitress placed the utensils, napkins and shortly afterwards my dinner like an annoyed mom, however did not bother with anything else after that. The place had about 4 to 5 ladies working the tables but not one came to my table. When I was done with my meal I asked where to pay. I informed her I felt like I was treated like someone with the plague. She asked why and I told her no one ever came around the table or bothered offering me water or anything. Her response was amazing, in Spanish she said “You was sitting away from the tables” I laughed and paid. Mind you I sat two tables away from where they the waitress sat to eat their meals and chatted away. I gave them a 3 star because of the rude service and lack of attention. The price is reasonable, tasty food and the music was cool, however I kept getting an error when trying to use the menu barcode.
Maybe they were tired but based on prior reviews it may seem the ladies can do better at being...
Read moreOn Saturday I took my American boyfriend to eat Latin food, although I am not Colombian woman I decided to bring him to this place that I haven't visited for at least 10 years and I have very good memories in my bussiness career. The service has changed a lot and the food too. I was dieing for eating homemade Arepas and Maduros; First of all the presentation was ugly; Arepa's taste really bad and dry, the Maduro it was dry and cold. Lulo juice in a plastic cup "X", The lime beer, was tap beer, not in the bottle sealed with a lime and the waiter didn't said anything , he just brought it. The rice with beans wasn' good at all. The only acceptable dish was the meat with shrimps. Where is glomour of this Sport Bar. People siting wearing heavy jacket even the temperatures wasn't bad, kids running around tables, waitres disorganized and poor profetional service. Bass boy was more alert than the waiter. Cositas Ricas used to be more International place, now is another Local poor restaurant. Very disapointed.
I wish would get back in time and Cositas Ricas keep the glamour used to have. My 2 stars is just...
