Title: "An Unforgettable Feast of Peruvian Delights!" Review: Last night, I had the opportunity to dine at Riko Peruvian Cuisine, a gem tucked away in Jackson Heights. The establishment exceeded my expectations, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment laced with Inka decorations that heightened the authenticity of the experience. The eatery has a semi-casual vibe, with disco balls hanging from the ceiling that sparkles and twinkle, adding a touch of magic to the ambiance. The space is furnished with large TVs and a fully-stocked bar, which perfectly complements the cuisine and the overall atmosphere. I sampled the 'Pollo Saltado,' a succulent chicken chunk sautƩed with red onions and tomatoes over a bed of crisp French fries. The Aguadito Soup, a heartwarming Chicken Giblet Soup, is an excellent accompaniment for the fantastic evening. I had a refreshing Diet Coke, served chilled to perfection to wash it all down. The service was swift, cordial, and attentive - a testament to their dedication to providing a remarkable dining experience. The servers were prompt, polite and took care of every request, embodying the spirit of customer service. Riko's indoor and outdoor seating options allow patrons to choose according to their comfort; I was seated indoors. The music was just right - a pleasant hum in the background that didn't disrupt conversation. Notably, Riko offers a range of mouthwatering Peruvian specialties such as Pollo a La Brasa (Rotisserie Chicken), Ceviches, Jalea, Lomo Saltado, and more. You can also unwind with their famed homemade Sangrias and now Pisco Sour. Overall, Riko Peruvian Cuisine serves a memorable dining experience - with its delicious food, swift service, and inviting atmosphere; I highly recommend this restaurant to any epicures craving an authentic Peruvian gastronomic adventure. I can't wait to return and sample more from their tempting menu. Don't miss out on this culinary treasure in Jackson Heights!

I've been to the Riko on Sunnyside, loved the food. So when I saw this one, i really wanted to give it an opportunity. Came over for Father's Day. The server politely greeted us, took us to our table, Menu is on an iPad, a lot of choices to read through . The Sunnyside menu still offers more. The venue was a little too loud for a restaurant dinner. Might be helpful if they lowered the music earlier for dinner service before deciding to turn into a club for the late night. So loud that the server was yelling to make sure we heard her and she couldn't hear us, so we had to yell back. It's not convenient for a person dining in, as I'm sure it's not comfortable for the server who has to raise their voice throughout the shift. It was visually appealing, nice art and interior designing. It also had a nice atmosphere. Artists were scheduled to perform but we never got to see them since there was no hour displayed for when they'd be playing, it just said they would be there. We probably came too early. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø Overall our family had a good time. Food was good, small portions and a little pricey but I guess that's the Roosevelt area. Servers were polite and attentive, but host kept distracting them. So they'd forget. It was an overall good experience.

be aware of this restaurant. I went today 5/28/22 to eat with my father( we are both Peruvian by the way) . First of all service was delayed for just two dishes Second the food was not good for the price. Third and worst. At the time of paying the bill, the prices were way higher than shown on the menu. One ordered dish on the menu showed as price $15.00 and on the bill showed $19.95 ?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!! And other one on the menu $18.00 and on the bill $21.00 When I went to the cashier. She inocentlly showed me an ad advising of " increasing costs" . Number one she never advised us about any increase. Second on the menu there was not any increase or something to tell us. Just the prices were as on any regular menu. I brought to the cashier attention this is nothing short of a ripoff. Plain and simple. SO THE WARNING IS GIVEN ON THIS RESTAURANT. BE AWARE AND CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO EAT THERE. IT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE SOME BUSINESSES LIKE THIS RIKO RESTAURANT HAVE PRACTICES LIKE THE ONES SHOWN ABOVE. Very bad experience and this would be the first and last visit to this restaurant. When

I've ordered sometimes for delivery but we decided to give a try to eat in. The food was ok. The waitress was nice too. The problem was at the end. (Background, my husband and I were both waitresses' for long time, so all the time before living anywhere, we checked if we were charged the right amount and also if tips are included, mistakes can happen right?) When we receive the check TIPS were already included and that was ok, it was like 15% of what we ordered. When we received back my card and the receipt from the transaction, ANOTHER AMOUNT was charged 😳 with MORE TIPS included.... and the original check was gone! We asked if we could have the original check back, and we waited and waited and waited, so we better headed to the register. On the register, the waitress knew that we had discovered her scam. She was nervously looking for our ORIGINAL check. We could see how she was shaking 🫨, she was extremely nervous. When she "found it," she couldn't even explain why they charged a different amount and why more tips were included. She voided the transaction and made a new one with the REAL ONE. We could have called the manager and made a big scene. How many more events like that already probably happen. IF YOU GO TO THAT PLACE please, check what are you paying for.. the TOTAL AMOUNT AND THE TIP. We are not cheap, WE WERE ON THE FOOD SERVICE long time ago and, we know how sad it's to get nothing after a good service but stealing from people's credit card that's way beyond morality. Just beware of what you...
