Creperie NYC — Restaurant in New York

I ordered through seamless at around 10:20pm. It said 30-40 minute wait. I than called back at 10:32pm to see if they started to make the order bc I wanted to cancel. They told me it was made already and they were waiting for a driver. I called back at 11pm and asked where it was. They told me they are starting to prepare it now. I asked if they can just cancel it than and they hung up on my face!!! When I called back they told me it was made and it couldn’t be cancelled. There was no way for them to cancel it only I can through the seamless app. When I googled how to cancel it seamless said I have to do it directly from the restaurant. I tried calling seamless and stayed on the line for over 15 minutes but no one picked up. The restaurant yelled at me constantly saying it couldn’t be cancelled through them only through seamless. I than got a notification that my order was being prepared and it would arrive here between 11:40-12:00am. I had enough at this point so I called the restaurant and told them to keep my money and not to send anything. 5 minutes later I got a call from someone from seamless confirming that I was cancelling my order for a refund. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE SERVICE AND NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE. Why couldn’t they just cancel my order the entire time??? Horrible service not worth the hype. We came in today with a group of 8 people with no one else on line we ordered and spent well over $120. 5 of us had to wait over 45 minutes to get our orders while 6 orders were handed out and 1 Togo order was made all before we finished getting our last 3 crepes. When we brought it to their attention the employees just blew us off and on purpose made us wait until they wanted to hand us the last 2 crepes because we repeatedly tried to figure out what the issue was and why everyone else got theirs before us. Hopefully this review gets some attention and the owner can work on hiring better caring employees or at least ones who can work at a faster pace even when they’re not busy. We are here on vacation and looked forward to this place out of all the food spots and now ultimately regret it. I don’t not recommend them the crepes tasted like every other crepe spot back home and the employees who even understood Spanish didn’t bother to answer any requests of an update on our orders. They can’t say that this happened becuase we had a big order or they were too busy, there was no line when we walked in and 2 others ordered same crepes as us and they handed them the crepes over instead of serving those who had been waiting. I absolutely love crepes and Creperie.

This was my first time to this location. I figured it would be fine because out of the 15-20 I visited the other location, I was completely satisfied. But not here.

I was not greated I actually let the person know of my existence by saying something eventhough she looked over me a times I asked for a tiramisu strawberry nutella whip cream crepe. It was mostly nutella. 4 . I asked for brownie on the crepe , she said it would be a extra charge. I said ok. I saw the price to add ice cream was $2. So I figured it would be a similar price. It wasn't instead $5. I was still okay because that is what I wanted . The brownie was gross and dry and old . The worst part of my experience was the brownie . The lady had no customer service what so ever !

I would maybe look in and see if it is her before I ever think about ordering from here again . I won't swear it off because of all the amazing times I have had with the brand it self. They have never failed me until this time.
