Cruz del Sur — Restaurant in New York

I’ve been here before with my small service dog. Sat outside, no problem.Today I went back and a women that I’m assuming to be the manager gave me a look from the moment I walked in!! Now I understand why.. I went to the cashier, ordered my food, asked the young lady if it was okay to sit “by the door” she said of course, not a problem. I sat there with my dog in her bag and next to me, the women ( must be the manager) walked up to me and said you must sit outside, Dogs are not allowed in here. I said not a problem. I Stepped out, sat at the table with my dog “in her bag”and next to me. She came up to me again and said my dog can’t be next to me. I let her know that my dog is a service dog, but she kept demanding and said it’s due to the health department regulations. One again I explained to her that my dog is a service dog I have anxieties and my dog must be next to me. She kept repeating herself making excuses that does not make any sense and basically arguing with me in a very condescending manner. I said no problem I’ll take my business somewhere else and got up to leave. She said okay that’s fine!! When I asked for her name, she said she doesn’t have one!!!! Haha obviously she knows she was over reacting because why wouldn’t she wanna give me her name unless she did something very wrong ?! I took a picture, there are no signs on door saying pets are not allowed! Sadly they lost a good...

The tacos were some of the best I've ever had, but the stars were the churros and the hibiscus Margherita (absolutely yummy and could down an entire carafe myself but not advise, it's pretty strong)! The churro was perfectly balanced, medium-sized, crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside (could have used a bit more cinnamon for my taste), but I still gobbled them all...they were NOT like the new style churros where it's only thin and crispy. Don't share! These were the nostalgic churros you can only get at the zoo. The chocolate dipping sauce was also just as amazing with a milk chocolate finish, not bitterly burnt dark chocolate. I forgot to take pictures because I inhaled both the drink and the churros after my delicious tacos. Will have to return again to grab some pics to add...but also have to return for lots more churros. On top of the food, the service was friendly...

Horrible experience here. I placed an order online through their website and as soon as the payment went through I saw it came out to $17 for 2 tacos with an automatic tip so I immediately called to cancel the order since that’s crazy expensive. They wouldn’t refund me and there was no customer service number to call to cancel it myself. I went to the restaurant for help and they told me I would have to call customer support myself even though there was no number and they didn’t give me one. I decided to just keep the order since they couldn’t refund me and they made me sign and date my receipt like I was trying to scam them even though they were the ones that were going to keep the money from my cancelled order. They were already being unhelpful but treating me like a scammer was just...
