If I am rating on food alone, Daily Provisions is 5 stars. I have never eaten anything at Daily Provisions that I didn’t love. However, this rating is also location specific and there is nothing special about this specific location.
In terms of food, menu highlights for me are:
The chefy salad is the best. Creamy, but well balanced. Filling and packed with protein and fiber. It really is a great salad.
Had never tried the potato salad before, but as with anything Daily Provisions does, it was awesome. Not too wet or heavy, with nice big chunks of potato.
For a quick breakfast, you can go wrong with their bacon egg and cheese or lumberjack (if you’re feeling a bit more decadent and naughty). Light, fluffy buns house a runny egg and thick savory cuts of bacon. Yum. Make sure to try it with their hot sauce.
And the crullers, well nuff said. I could eat the cinnamon cruller everyday and everything would feel right in the world. It’s a circular churro, with perfectly crispy edges and a soft custard middle. An absolutely must buy.
What else can I say? Having a Daily Provisions within walking distance is both a gift and a curse. It’s hasn’t helped my scale, but it’s...
Read moreIf you had asked me when this place first opened, I would have given it 5/5 across the board. Yes, the waits can be long and there is limited seating but that’s to be expected with anywhere as good as it was. Key, WAS.
Now, I can’t justify a strong endorsement. The last two times I have been here, it has been so busy that I had to order to go. That would be fine, except it seems like to circumvent their issue with wait times they have started to cut corners. Both times I ordered the lumberjack with an egg well done/over hard and both times the yolk was runny and the bottom of the sandwich/cruller was stuck to the to go box, as if they had premade the sandwich and thrown it in the microwave and nuked it. The bacon is also losing its quality and becoming dry and sinewy.
They have a lot of issues they need to sort out, and until they do I just don’t see myself being a...
Read moreI have had primarily positive experiences here but there is one employee that gives poor service every time I’m there. Everyone else is great! But when he is there I know I’m going to get poor service. The first time I was let down by his service, I ordered espresso and watched him make it. He did not put the cup properly under the maker so half of the espresso didn’t make it into the cup and he served it that way. I stopped getting coffee when he’s there. Another time he spilled soup all over the platter while serving it and didn’t acknowledge it. Like soup soaked napkins and all over the sides of the bowl. Just walked away. I was really shocked. Kind cashier, but no care at all while serving food. Which is such a contrast to everyone else’s service here! Everyone else is beyond wonderful! I feel bad calling someone out but service is poor every...
