Deli Bite in Cobble Hill looks like any old corner shop, but that buffalo chicken wrap they sling? It’s a different story. You’re not biting into some sad, soggy excuse for buffalo chicken here. No, this thing’s packed with crispy chunks of chicken, drowning in buffalo sauce like it’s got nothing left to lose. They toss in some avocado for a little softness, wrap it in a tortilla that feels like it’s wrapping you back.

You look at it and think, “I don’t know if I can take this whole thing down,” but the second you start, you’re in it. Every bite just pulls you deeper. The heat’s there, but it’s not trying too hard. It’s got crunch, it’s got sauce—so much sauce you’ll be licking your fingers but somehow, the tortilla holds. It’s for the people who don’t mind getting a little messy for something worth eating. Stopped in at Deli Bite and was really impressed. The staff were super friendly and the service was fast — perfect spot if you’re on the go. I got The Godfather hero and it was excellent — fresh ingredients, great flavor, and definitely one of the better sandwiches I’ve had in Brooklyn. They also have a surprisingly big selection of unique protein bars and snacks you don’t usually see elsewhere, which is a nice touch. I said I wanted a veggie sandwich from their veggie menu and I got a chicken sandwich which had almost none of the ingredients on the menu. The worst part was the cashier gave it to me and said the name of the veggie sandwich. To add on to it, it wasn’t even busy so idk what happened. If I wasn’t vegetarian I wouldn’t have minded but this meant I wasted money and couldn’t even have a meal out of it. Not recommended, I came because it had good reviews but who knows how many of...
