I have heard a lot about Dig, that it’s popular but unfortunately it’s not and I will just share why it’s not. It’s a small restaurant with small amount of unsocial; inexperienced team members; very poor service; the team members do not know how to greet customers…. I was at the 4th Avenue Dig at Union Square it was a very first time; I went inside with a smiling face and happily greeted this unsocial woman who was at the counter; I said hi with a broad smile on my face; so you have the Mac&cheese today?? She say excuse me??? So I repeated myself again and again she said excuse me what do you mean??? And she was getting irritated as if I’m bothering her; but I’m a customer and I went to order my food but her responses were very very poor and I knowledgeable towards me as a customer. I asked for tap water she showed me a small pot which was nasty and I wasn’t drinking that nasty water?? I asked for a cup for the water which she never gave me, she gave me the Mac&cheese in a tiny bowl that she charged me $6, and the food was mad cold; it was cold in a way where I just forced myself to eat coz I already paid for it and I dn’t wanna waste the food. So I was thirsty and I said I’m going pay half cash and the rest by card she says oh that’s not allowed over here??? Coz I cannot do two transactions like that; so I was like I’m paying $2 in cash and the rest $1 by card ; she kept staring at me for 2mins as if I’m from another planet and speaking to her in Portuguese???? The service was worst and every other Dig is small and very very poor when it comes to environment and and the restaurant itself. I did some research the same day by going to other Dig locations and they all are very poor when it comes to restaurant quality, food quality and team members…. Whole Foods have the best Mac&cheese for $6 a box but depending on the weight coz they have buffets and it could be abit expensive but the quality of the Mac&cheese is so good and it’s hot , it’s delicious and way way...

As a vegan, this place is great to find a quick and nutritionally-dense meal that fills you up. Lots of yummy options to build a bowl. The tofu is a little too oily, but it’s tasty—the sriracha sauce helps cut through it.
Bonus, I can pay with my student dining dollars as a broke college student. But yeah, the pricing is a little high, and depending on who’s serving you, you might get a lighter hand so it feels like you’re not getting your money’s worth.
The layout of this store is a little confusing—there isn’t a menu in the front, you have to walk to the side, so I think it’s confusing...

Not having a "reserve a table" option on your business profile can potentially deter customers who prefer the convenience of planning ahead.
