Take this thing down. I have to look at it daily on my way to work. I care about the environment. I recycle and I don't drive. This thing is total "schlock activism". We are all very highly aware of the climate problem. It cannot be healthy to be blasted with the stats in your face daily in a way you cannot turn off that is very hard to avoid if you want to enjoy Union Square. The Doomsday Climate clock is massively misguided. Environmental awareness via constant burnout does not work. This piece also feels very shamey. Very self righteous and loudly performative... like most "activism" in any political direction. You can't solve climate change by making people feel awful. It's like that annoyingly churchy friend or perfect granola mom. Ick. Every time I see this thing I wish to burn some trash with leaded gasoline while clubbing a baby seal.
