Nordstrom Rack — Local services in New York

Bought an Avec Les Filles from Nordstrom Rack thinking the quality should at least be acceptable. I put in it in the closest and only took it out after 6 weeks wanting to try it out for Fall season. To my horror, the coat fur looks "damaged". I took this to Nordstrom Rack Union Square where I bought it, and they refused to do anything about it because it's 4 days past their return policy.

What do they expect me to do? Itemize everything in my closet everyday to make sure nothing get damaged? That is not what normal people do when they buy clothing from retails stores. Nothing get damaged in the closet, heck, I bet even Forever21 or Marshall isn't this low quality. The item is not even cheap. I've been a long time member of Nordstrom, so I expect at least Nordstrom Rack has acceptable quality, but apparently I was wrong. It totally fine I'm unable to return this item, but I'll never come back to any Nordstrom Rack again.

If you buy anything from Rack, just make sure you check all the items within the return date, they may get damaged in the closet without you knowing, and they will shove you away when that happens.

I also need a better explanation here. What's the reason Nordstrom Rack made a customer pay and be responsible for an item that has bad quality and unable to use? Even my $50 H&M coat stayed in my closet for 6 years without any damage. Why Nordstrom Rack sold an already on sale over hundred dollar coat damage within less than 60 days and refuse to be...

This Nordstrom Rack Location never disappoints. At the height of the pandemic in August of 2020 the prices were even more amazing. I found Calvin Klein men's wife beaters, which are a girl's best friend. They make sleeping on your partner's chest so amazing. They're so soft. I found a great Calvin Klein dress for work. I got a great pair of Joe's jeans for $17.49. My best friend for a long time was a beautiful Hunter green small crossbody Coach purse, I purchased there for $59.99 in 2011. The cashiers are always so professional and offer great conversation at the Union Square Nordstrom Rack. After, I lose weight I have to keep for a role right now, I'm heading to this location for the great lingerie prices. You can find great stockings in larger sizes, but in terms of bras, it's gasp, only Macy's in NYC that carries the Wacoal Retrofit. Macy's is running a racket it on that bra, it's that good. Nordstrom locations carry it, but I've yet to see it a Rack. So, come on NYC let's push for a Nordstrom to open. Maybe the old Lord and Taylor by Bryant Park?! Oh that would be amazing. I don't know what's the best thing to come of the pandemic, the USA having to-go cocktails, or those pandemic level prices that day in August, 2020 at this Nordstrom Rack. Honestly, I would have to go with the to-go cocktails, because bargains do happen at all times, and to-go cocktails...

Zero stars. Deplorable service.

I came in to return one item out of four purchased two weeks ago. The employee, CAMELIA G., immediately accused me of wearing the shoes -- a completely baseless accusation. I explained that they were in the exact condition I purchased them in and have not been worn. She continued to insinuate I was lying, rolled her eyes, and said she'd make a one time exception before flinging the shoes into the corner.

Another male employee came by to inspect the shoes and condescendingly say "mmm you should've taken a picture." I certainly will if I ever shop here again.

This event occurred at 10:41AM on 11/1/25. There were about 30 people waiting in line to purchase and return items, and only ONE cashier open until CAMELIA G. arrived to open another register and offer her disgusting service.
