Authentic Indian Delights Await at Dewali Restaurant

Nestled in the heart of India, Dewali Restaurant offers a culinary journey through the rich flavors of Indian cuisine. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of sampling a variety of dishes that left a lasting impression.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance. The decor exuded traditional charm, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The menu boasted a diverse selection of Indian classics, each prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. From aromatic biryanis to flavorful curries, every dish was a testament to the chef's expertise and dedication to authenticity.

One standout dish was the creamy Butter Chicken, its tender pieces of chicken perfectly complemented by the rich tomato-based sauce. Another highlight was the Paneer Tikka, a vegetarian delight grilled to perfection and served with a tantalizing mint chutney.

Other notable dishes included:

Chicken Biryani: Fragrant basmati rice cooked with tender chicken pieces, aromatic spices, and saffron, resulting in a dish that was both comforting and aromatic.

Dal Makhani: A creamy lentil curry simmered with tomatoes, butter, and a blend of spices, offering a comforting and satisfying flavor profile.

Tandoori Chicken: Succulent chicken marinated in yogurt and spices, then grilled to perfection in a traditional clay oven, resulting in tender meat with a delicious smoky flavor.

To accompany the meal, I enjoyed a refreshing Mango Lassi, providing a sweet and tangy contrast to the savory dishes.

Overall, my experience at Dewali Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and charming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or a first-time visitor, Dewali Restaurant is sure to delight your taste buds and leave you...

I did a catering order for after my dad’s funeral service and I am very glad I did. The food was hot and fresh. Very flavorful and I got many compliments of the spread. Since this was a vegetarian cater I got the following: Paneer tikka masala- delicious and everyone said they didn’t even miss the chicken that’s usually in this Spinach paneer- also really good and people didn’t realize there was paneer Aloo curry- probably the best I have tasted in a long time. Aloo Gobi- I did this because we just needed more veggies and I was told it was really good Dhal tadka- very delicious and paired well with everything A large tray of garlic naan which there was no leftovers so that should speak for itself self Rice which was free If you need catering for your next event please...

Stumbled into Diwali on Fulton Street, a place where the city’s clamor fades, replaced by the hum of spices and quiet conversations. Ordered the Tandoori Chicken—marinated in yogurt and spices, each bite a testament to the art of patience and flavor. The Lamb Rogan Josh followed, tender lamb bathed in a cardamom sauce that spoke of distant places and unhurried times. The naan, warm and soft, perfect for mopping up every last drop. Service was attentive without intrusion, the staff moving with a grace that comes from knowing their craft well. Diwali isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a reminder that amidst the city’s chaos, there are still places where time slows, and one can savor the simple act of eating. Four stars because nothing’s perfect, but...

My wife found Diwali Indian Cuisine, and it turned out to be an amazing choice. The food was full of flavor—the butter chicken was rich, the naan was perfectly cooked, and the samosas were crisp and delicious. Our server, Vivek, made the experience even better. He was attentive, kind, and gave thoughtful recommendations. You could tell he really cared about making sure we had a great time. We’re already planning to come back. If you’re looking for excellent Indian food and great service, this is the place to go. Ask for Vivek—he’s fantastic.

My partner and I ordered paneer tikki masala and a special menu item: haryali chicken. It was super delish. The chicken was an envoy of bright flavors: tandoor char, herbacious warmth, and a little acidity to balance the chicken breast cutlets. Perfectly balanced. This paired well with the tangy sweet paneer and simple white rice. They also have a variety of Lassi worth exploring. I had rose while my partner tried the salted lassi.
