This review is for 1206 Fulton street Brooklyn, NY, buyer beware the seller/owner behaved rudely, argumentative, unprofessional and should not be in business. I live in queens, I researched the internet, local stores and warehouses for the Linda Bed in a BLACK color. The bed can be referred as the Linda bed or the Ireland storage bed they both are the same storage beds. At the time I was scheduled to move to New Jersey on July 1. All of the online manufactures told me that all deliveries were backed up 4-6 weeks. On June 22, I searched dozens of furniture stores around my neighborhood on Jamaica avenue. Every single store had the Linda bed only in a brown color which I did not want. They even promises that they could get the bed in black but again it would take 4-6 weeks. I declined hoping that I would get lucking by Googling furniture stores in a 10 mile radius. I came across a furniture store located 2 blocks away from Kings furniture, the store owner claimed he had the black Linda bed that I wanted on the showroom floor, he only had one so I needed to get to the store quickly if I wanted it. I told he I'd be there to pick it up asap and borrowed a friends van, drove an hour in the pouring rain to the location. Long story short the sales man lied just to get me into store, completely wasted my time, only had the brown color which again I did not want. I was highly upset but refused to give up the search for the particular bed. The closest location to that store was King furniture. I drive over to King Furniture store, talked to the sales guy, was extremely specific on what I wanted and told him about all the experiences that I've been having trying to get the bed only in black. He asked me to wait while he made a phone call, reassured me that he would do his best in helping me find what I was looking for. He ended his phone call and told me he had good new, he had the color and bed that I wanted in stock, it belonged to someone else but was not a rush for the other buyer, since I was there he would give it to me and order the other people another bed. I was in shock and excited at the same time, I asked again are you sure it is in black? He stated "Of course I have it, why would I waste your time, do you want it now, you pay now, I call guy to bring it over!" His tone was a bit aggressive, I figured it was because he felt I was questioning his integrity, so I shrugged it off. I asked how much for the bed his price was $1302.98, which was $300 more than any other store. Online this bed average between $800-$1200. I figured his price was higher because this color was hard to find and in demand. I made the payment and was asked to go out to SUV and lower all the seats so that he could load all of the boxes. After doing so three guys appeared with 4 huge boxes, I didn't not think all boxes would fit but they tried extremely hard and made it work. I shook everyone's hand and thanked them for relieving the stress this bed was causing me. I went online ordered my black night stand, black wall mirror, black mini fridge, black wall shelves, and black wall fireplace from varies websites that offered next day deliveries. I didn't open any of the boxes because I was moving, on move in day the moving company took the headboard out of the box and it was brown. I called the store and the seller/owner yelled in my ear told me I was lying, that I asked him for brown color and that he would call around to see if anyone had bed in black and he would call me back. He never called back, I called back he says no it isn't available, it wont be available and their isn't anything he could do. I told him no problem I am not arguing with you I will see you in court. Now I have to keep these items in a box in my home in another state until I get a verdict. I want them to come get there boxes and either refund me or get the black color bed that I purchased. Read moreWhen I moved into my apartment I knew I needed all new furniture. One day I walked passed King's Furniture store and something said let me try them. I am sooo happy I turned back around. The salesmen are sooo helpful. They delivered my bed the next day. The sales guy told me if I had any problem to give him a call. Recently I went back for a living room set. I love my leather living room recliner set. There were extra surprises to my couch that I found out after they delivered it. It lit up at the bottom of both pieces and instead of 2 reclining 4 seats reclined. Before they delivered the couch I told the sales guy that the pieces under my bed that was holding up the bed was scratching up my floor. He told me he would take care of it. When the men delivered my living room set they built a piece to go under my bed . My bed is sooo comfortable as well as my living room set. My Grandson can't stay out my bed. He falls asleep in the recliner sofa I got from them. The guys that work in the store have great hospitality. I wish I would've saw this store when I first moved to NYC because the furniture store I dealt with was horrible. The bed was uncomfortable and pieces were missing. They took 6 months to replace it. About 3 weeks ago from the time i am posting this up i went in this store to pirchase new couches, the man was helpful enough and everything ran smoothly. The problem is the customer service.i called them to see when the couches will be there, it was always the same answer "i'll check now, let me call you back" no call. asked for a right facing chaise, when it finally got here, got the left, so then we had to wait for the ottoman, i call back. 4 times to be exact, they put me on hold and the call drops, so i would have to call right back. It feels like they people they hire are there on cousins looking for a quick dollar doing nothing.
