The food is OK, NOT the Best, but is OK. The place it's self has been renovated. The women in the Kitchen " Chefs " are amazing great. The waitress are Not so pleasant, that's a problem. When you ask them for anything they seem to not like it and often they don't answer, but when it comes to tipping they seem to want the 20%. That's NOT how it should be. Tipping is provided based on the Service and NOT on the quality of food. This particular waitress (see the photo) has always a "chowing gum" and when she talks to people it doesn't look good. Wish you best of luck Djerdan, you have been around for a while but you should check on your staff at times. Giving it 3 stars just for the food, NOT...

I drove 2 and a half hours to get to this place. As I was driving I called and placed the order 2 meat pies and some other stuff. When I get there the lady in front only gives me one. I told her I ordered 2, she said i did not hear 2. I heard 1. I said how long it takes to make another one? She said 30min. I sad nvm just give me the one pie. Her customer service skills need improvement. Turns but the byrek was not even worth the drive. Very crispy and greesy. I did not like the byrek at all. I don’t live in NY, we only come here for the food but this time we wanted to try this one place. I will never visit this place again. I will stick the Bronx one. Tony and Tina’s...

Burek is an item that is a crowd pleaser across the board and Djerdan delivers on excellent burek and other Balkan staples.

I give the burek, especially the spinach, a 10/10. Flaky, flavorful, and filling...this is as good as it gets. The meat and cheese burek are also solid A options and it's worth ordering as many varieties as you can if you're not rolling solo so bring a friend and two and get in on as much goodness as you can.

The cevapi and other meat options here are good, but not great so stick to the item that is in the name of the establishment and be wowed with burek perfection! They also have several desserts and all are...

Great food, homie food, original Serbian food! Burek, cevapi, gulas all of those are the best! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat my home country food! I have to add one thing, "sopska salad" needs to be better and its serving needs to be better. What I would recommend is to take out the lettuce, cut the cucumbers and tomatoes in bigger pieces, and serve the salad in a bowl instead of plate. Traditional salads are not served in plate, they are served in bowls. Also, keep the vegetables cold and served salad fresh. This is advice only.

I absolutely loved this place! It is in the smaller side. It may appear to be more of a takeout restaurant that has six tables available for those that may want to stay, but don’t be deceived! The food was absolutely delicious! I decided to try new entrees and I was not disappointed. I went for dinner only, but their of desserts certainly look tempting! I will certainly be back to test more of the menu. The Burek pies coming out of the oven looked amazing, so I’ll definitely have to go back to sample all burek options!

First of all, DIRTY. Tables sticky, full of other peoples crumbs even though no one was there. The displays are also grimy. I purchased cevapi which were good, but I wont visit again because its unsanitary, place is perfect if you want to get sick. Also the girl at the register confused my order with a takeout, then acted upset that I pointed it out. It's true that they read you at the door and if you dont speak their language you'll feel the less than stellar treatment. I'm skipping next visit.
