Diamond Dogs Astoria: Still a Fantastic Find!** Last night, my friends and I had a great time at Diamond Dogs Astoria! It's got a really welcoming feel – the kind of place that feels like a neighborhood favorite with a cool, laid-back atmosphere. We ordered a round of cocktails, and they were all really well-made. The Whiskey Sour was a perfect mix of sweet and tart, with a lovely smooth finish. My friend enjoyed their Moscow Mule, which, while not in the traditional copper mug, was still refreshing and had that great spicy ginger flavor. I went with the Sidecar, and it was a classic done just right – the cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon juice blended beautifully. Even though the Moscow Mule wasn't in the expected copper, our experience was still easily 5-star worthy. The service was friendly and quick, the drinks were delicious, and the overall vibe made for a really enjoyable night. If you're in Astoria and looking for a place with excellent cocktails, Diamond Dogs is definitely worth...
Read moreA long, narrow bar with minimal yet cozy decor. The space isn't great for the acoustics, as it gets to being quite noisy on the weekends. It's nice that they let people bring in outside food, but then again, you end up smelling everyone else's food, which doesn't always work out for the best. Now that it's chilly out, the backyard is closed, so I didn't get to check it out. The beer list is not very exciting, as it features only about 8 rotating beers, mostly of the wheat bear/lager/ipa variety. Not particularly diverse or seasonal. I'm not sure how it's mentioned as one of the best craft beer bars in all of Queens with such a minimal list and even smaller bottle listing. My friends didn't particularly enjoy their cocktails either. I'd give it one more chance if I was in the area, but wouldn't make the trek all the way from Brooklyn again. It's more of a neighborhood spot than a...

Why be open serving people something that actively weakens their immune system if we are still in a pandemic? Why not provide your employees with hazmat suits if they are really risking their lives to work? Are their staff in proper fitting and sealed n95 respirators? Is there biohazard waste disposal at this establishment to get rid the masks they should be constantly be switching out to avoid bacteria growth and cross contamination? Don’t they know that people are still testing positive after getting this experiment? Bet they have probably bought into the fear of cash as well. Make...
