Terrible service. Ordered twice now delivery. They used to be good about a year ago and now it’s terrible. Customer service is awful.
TLDR: Don’t order delivery from here. This place will just make your life more difficult. Always at least an hour late. Order from somewhere else.
I got a call from the driver the first time after he was already late telling me he was gonna mark my order as delivered on the tracker through the app and call me when it actually arrives. Another 20 minutes go by so I call the store who finally get the driver to call me. Driver tells me he’s gonna be another 15 minutes. I start questioning him why he marked my order as delivered if he was so late. He said it was company policy and then proceeded to swear at me the more I questioned him and called him out on it.
Personally I think they have some sort of rating system for their deliveries and he didn’t wanna be late.
Second time I ordered, my food was in the prep stage for 50 minutes until my order just disappeared on the tracker. A few minutes I check again and it’s back there and they’re just prepping it again. I call the store and the guy on the phone keeps stuttering and tells me the system went down. Told me it was a large scale shutdown that affected all surrounding stores. I call the next closest store not even 2 miles away. They tell me there was no system error and that this domino’s store would always run late on orders anyways.
I’ve worked both in retail and food myself on high traffic occasions and I don’t understand how it’s that hard for you to do something you’re paid to do. The in store location never gets busy.
Making multiple reports and calls to the franchise to either get this place shutdown or under new management. Current staff and owner don’t value customer service at all and make everything...
Read moreI just had the WORSE experience with Dominos Pizza (store #3596 in Queens NY). I had the misfortune of ordering pizza from my local store at approximately 9pm earlier this evening. Using the pizza tracker, I noticed the pizza was sent out to at 9:22. I waited until 1030 to call and ask about the status of my pizza. Unfortunately, the driver had a problem with the car but after 4 additional calls and another hour later, i was assured a new pizza (and wings to make up for this horrible service) would be sent to me. Of course, when the pizza arrives, it is not new, it is not fresh and everything was extremely cold and inedible. I requested to speak to the Manager on duty, Stelle Mangra, and all i received was attitude and contempt. She tried to reconcile the issue by giving me a lava cake (of course, i didn't want that). I just wanted a new pizza and would be happy to give back the older,colder version. Of course she only 'welcomed' me with an attitude for the rest of the call. Her horrible customer service skills, made me cancel the order and request my money back. As i tried to let the issue die and just re-heat the pizza, i noticed BUGS ARE DIRECTLY on the pizza and on the foil around the wings. This incident is UNACCEPTABLE and should be looked into. It is disgusting to have a customer wait for so long and then provide inedible food. I have ordered from Dominos for years but that will stop immediately and i encourage everyone whom orders from this store (mentioned above) to do the same. Literally just needed 2 pizzas delivered to the hotel across the street.
Online ordering wasn’t working which isn’t a big deal, but when you call you have to go through a robot which sends you to a call center and then after you talk with the call center they transfer you to the store — and then you have to listen to the whole recorded speech and wait forever for someone to pick up. I had to do this 3 times before I was even able to attempt to place an order. The first time I gave the address, then the employee said something I didn’t understand at first and when asked to repeat himself he hung up. Second time the employee kept asking for an order number, told me he couldn’t understand me when I said I need to place an order, and hung up. 45 minutes later and the third time, the guy finally places the order but made it extremely difficult and bitched at me about it being 15 minutes til close the whole time even after I told him I’d been calling for 45 minutes — kept telling me to place the order online and when I said I’d also been attempting to do that for as long and it’s not working told me “well many people have placed online orders so just order online.” Just over and over and over. Finally placed the order and asked for the card number and then snapped at me when I gave the first 4 numbers and said he couldn’t take a card.
Can’t tell you how the food is as we didn’t get any. Service that bad, we didn’t...
