I’ll admit that I can be a hard person to please but when I come across something I really like, I’m LOCKED IN FOR LIFE!!!!! I’ve come all the way from greenpoint, Brooklyn 3 times for these cupcakes, and needless to say I’m hooked. This is a beautiful black owned and woman owned dessert shop and the overall look of the shop is so cute. I love the Brooklyn homage photos, and the dainty all pink decor. They even have indoor seating, merch, and a ceiling swing for photo ops. The shining stars at this shop are the cupcakes, even though they do have dessert cups, sliced cake, and ice cream. My #1 favorite is the strawberry cheesecake cupcake (and I think everyone else’s too as is almost always sold out lol) . I have tried the strawberry lemon, the confetti birthday, and the strawberry plain. They have all been amazing and personally it’s the homemade taste, the perfect top crust(y’all know when the cake and corn bread gets that nice firm top crust right out the oven) paired with the cheese cake frosting. I love the quality and the consistency, as I’ve been here on 3 separate occasions and its always fresh and taste amazing. There aren’t any signs for the cupcake names ( I’m really not sure why?) so you might have to remember what you ordered if you love a particular dessert but I’m still sssssoooooo in love with this place. Highly...
Read moreI’m so excited to have this cute bakery in the neighborhood!! I tried the cinnamon roll, strawberry cake slice, Oreo cupcake and a dessert cup with ice cream, vanilla cake, frosting AND a chocolate chip cookie.
EVERYTHING WAS SO DELICIOUS. The cake was a perfect balance of fluffy and dense and moist. The strawberry cake slice was SO GOOD and I can’t wait to go back for more. The icing had a bit of a tartness to it that I enjoyed. I can be quite picky about strawberry cake, and was quite pleased with this cake slice.
The dessert cup was a great concept of mixed sweetness and texture and temperature; so much fun to mix and eat each bite- I can’t wait to try the red velvet chocolate versions too.
The cinnamon roll and cupcake were both delicious too, but for brevity please just go try some dessert here!!
The shop is small, but cutely decorated - it caught my eye as I was walking by. The owner had such good energy and is clearly passionate about sharing delicious sweets...
Read moreI was at the shop as soon as it opened today. Upon entering and walking up to the counter, the young entrepreneurs mother was placing cupcakes down and failed to greet me for atleast 3 minutes thereafter. I felt awkward just standing there, then eventually she asked me what I wanted (by no means was she being unpleasant, it may be just the etiquette was missed) I ordered the chocolate cupcake with the ganache topped with a mini piece of brownie. I was first surprised because of the mini sized cupcake priced at $6. I think that the cupcakes are overpriced for the small size given. They are not average sized. And I am used to driving all over for bakery shops and particularly shops where the feature is usually cupcakes. Although the taste was pleasant, it will not make me drive the distance I drove to visit this...
