The station is quite dirty. And it kinda smells sometimes. I wish the MTA would make an effort to maintain it a little better. The (A) is pretty reliable most of the time and if the (A) is taking a while we always have the option to take the (C) instead if it's quicker. The (C)'s not too reliable though. Also they got rid of ALL the modern R160 (C) trains and yes there are more new (A) trains than before but I just wish that all the trains would just be new. It's so disappointing when another FRICKIN R46 train comes. Thank Christ they at least got rid of those...

Another station that seems like it needs a slight bit of a renovation, with gentrification going on around it. The Station platforms are fairly clean but they're so wide for side platforms that the homeless tend to sleep on it. LIRR is 3 blocks south. Local & Express trains both stop here.
