Food itself was decent but so many issues were incurred when we went here. Ordered a beer, waiter never came back with the drink or said anything. After 15 minutes, I asked him for an update on the drink, to which he said they ran out. No problem with them running out, it happens, but not sure why I had to flag him down for him to say that. We then ordered margaritas, to which he brought us skinny marg’s, not regular margs. Which is fine, not a big deal, but the consistency of poor service was getting a bit frustrating. The food was solid, but we had ordered fries and had already finished our food and then again, we had to flag down our waiter and ask where the fries were to which he said “you’re not getting your fries, there is something going on in the kitchen.” Interesting way of addressing a kitchen issue, but alright. The waiters had no idea which food was going where and we were brought the wrong dish 5/6 times. The waiters were then all convened and not helping anyone for about 15 min despite there being around 35 people at the restaurant. We finally get the check, to which of course they charged us for the beer and fries that we never got. Only reason for 2 stars is the food itself was decent, but the service made this a...
Read moreGot there around 5:45 on a sunny Thursday evening. Ambiance is beautiful with the river and sunset right next to you. However the food and amount of time it took to get my drink was disappointing. Ordered french fries, oysters, and a glass of wine when I sat down. Fries came out in 10 minutes, another 3 minutes came the oysters. 2 minutes later my wine arrived. The oysters were okay. I chose the east coast and they were just okay something about them just didn’t seem too fresh. Once my wine arrived, I put in an order for a chicken sandwich. By this time the place was much more crowded and I could tell people sitting beside me were getting agitated about how long it was taking for their drinks to arrive. My sandwich was prompt and arrived less than 10 minutes from when I put in my order. Unfortunately I was disappointed, it just had an overwhelming taste of “fried”. Not much flavor at all even though there was some kind of spicy mayo on it. Seems the chicken or breading itself was not seasoned at all. The best part of my meal was the french fries and wine (which can be had anywhere). For a small meal that came out to $70 for one person, I was extremely underwhelmed. Unfortunately I won’t...
