Following up on my comments from several months back. The food and coffee are still wonderful, especially my favorite— the breakfast sandwich. The wide-open glass doors let in a ton of fresh air, light, and even the occasional and charming sparrow. It’s still clean, bright, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, (perhaps) a little TOO welcoming. It seems to have become the preferred location for remote/work-from-home folks and that leads to very slow turnover for the limited tables. Today I counted 10 laptops. There are only three 2-seat tables inside, so seating becomes scarce unless I want to take up a three, four, or six seat table by myself— something I really don’t want to do. There are several couch seating options with low tables: comfortable for casual sipping and relaxing (and working, apparently) but a real challenge to actually eat at. They do occasionally rearrange the furniture and I’ll continue to be a frequent visitor while looking out for any evolution in the...
Read moremy new favorite place. but i feel torn whether or not to recommend it :( the reason being: i want to gatekeep this cafe because 1. it serves great coffee 2. it’s very clean 3. it’s so cozy to work here!! i am on a food fast so i can’t review any food but their whipped honey latte is really good (did try their cookie AND IT WAS GOOD!! they actually are good and not meh like other cookies in other coffee shops!!). oh i wish they do not attract the too-noisy ones and those who seat their bags.... (i believe everybody has the right to great coffee but some patrons test your patience more than others).

You’re always greeted with at least two genuine smiling faces. The entire team is fantastic, whether you’re up for just getting your coffee and keeping to yourself, or feel like having a chat. they truly care about the customer, their food, and making the place feel like home.
