Dunkin' — Restaurant in New York

I wanted the sweet black pepper bacon strips and what I got was the sandwich. when I told the lady at the register, instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding she proceeded to say I ordered wrong! She said to me “you ordered ‘sweet black pepper’” and I had to tell her that it literally said “sweet black pepper snackin’ strips” and pointed it on the menu and she still didn’t apologize! Instead she doubled down saying “no it doesn’t say on my register bacon strips” and I literally had to tell her that I pointed it on the menu when I ordered! And she still continued to argue back saying “but you didn’t say “snackin’”. So we’re changing the story now?? First she told me I didn’t say “sweet black pepper” now it’s “no you didn’t say snackin’ strips” just own up and take accountability and admit that you made the mistake?? I work in food/customer service too and if I make a mistake I’ll admit fault but this lady with the glasses really tried to gaslight me?! Like why are you arguing with the customer? Literally could’ve diffused the situation by saying “oh sorry I misunderstood I thought you wanted the sandwich you can keep the sandwich I’ll heat you up the bacon right now” but instead you wanted to be cocky and try to accuse me of ordering wrong when I literally read the item off the menu? Horrible customer service this is why I don’t go to Dunkin half the time and just go local because half the time they mess up my order and then try to say...

I’m really happy this new Dunkin’ opened up. The old one across the street is closed now but honestly this is a major upgrade. The space is bigger, much cleaner, and has a more modern vibe. It just feels better walking in.

I grabbed their Munchkins and some glazed donut holes and they were super fresh and delicious. Perfect little treats to go with my coffee.
