Listen ... The coffee ... We ordered 2 americanos, one regular one decaf, that's it. The lady makin' the coffee put espresso in a cup, filled it with hot water until it drastically overflowed, and then took it and dumped some of it out so it wasn't filled to the absolute brim, wiped off the sides of the cup, and handed it to us. An americano is supposed to be espresso with like 2 or 3 ounces of hot water. My wife got 12 oz. of brown hot water that tasted like someone spilled some coffee into it by accident. It's the easiest thing on earth to make. You should be able to teach a cinder block how to make an americano. Over all, eataly has great groceries, I've been there many times, tremendous produce, cheese, pasta, etc. But listen ... You can't do that with the coffee. Not acceptable. Quit screwin' around. I know you have an insane amount of foot traffic, but there wasn't a line for coffee at this time, it was just us, and the lady makin' the coffee. And listen though ... Even if you have a line out the door for cups of coffee? Still not acceptable. Just stop, stop this, don't do this anymore with the coffee. And where are your standards, where is your self respect, if you make something terrible, make it over again for christ's sake, don't just distribute it to someone who just paid like 8 bucks for the two cheapest liquids on earth mixed together in a cup. Come on,...

Read moreEataly is a great spot to get amazing deserts, great pasta dishes and pizza, and hard to find Italian seasonings, cheeses, meats, and breads all in one place. There’s great gelato and good wines and cocktails available as well. It’s definitely a must go.
Food: I ordered a pasta (forgot the name) that was both flavorful and filling. The pasta was made fresh in house, and I could tell by the taste, and cooked perfectly Al dente , just the way I like. The sauce was well seasoned and rich with a good amount of sausage. I also had a nice glass of rose wine.
Service: This is where they need to do better. There are a lot of spots to sit and eat but not all are bars meaning they aren’t staffed. I sat and two other folks sat and about after 10 minutes I finally got up to go get help so that we could be served. Afterward, the bartender serving us checked on us a couple times but service was definitely lacking the proper attention. They should set up a better system so that folks are seated and served in a reasonable time.
Atmosphere: food heaven. Lots of sample stations, Italian groceries, deserts, gelato, pastries, meats, and seasonings. The atmosphere is lively,...
