TL;DR the staff is excellent and Dr Randhawa is skillful, fast and very knowledgeable. Do yourself a favor and schedule your next appointment with her now.
Wonderful experience at Dr Randhawaâs dental offices in Times Square! Iâm a new patient and I went in for a cleaning and consultation, expecting to find a couple cavities and the need for a deep cleaning.
Right from the start the staff was wonderful! After booking on Zocdoc, Stephanie called me to get me set up and was able to track down my insurance from the few clues I could give her (this was no small feat as I didnât know who or what my coverage was. Thanks Stephanie!). On arriving, Stephanie and Jason at the front desk were both incredibly friendly and helpful. You may not have as many questions or need as much assistance as I did with the start paperwork but I was very glad they were there to help me with everything.
Sarah the hygienist was fantastic! She took my X-rays, checked my gums and provided the cleaning, but more importantly answered every question I had as we went along. She was a great intro for a new patient to the practice and a great set up to Dr. Randhawa.
In keeping with her practice, Dr. Randhawa was every bit as friendly and helpful as her staff. She detailed the treatment plan she had tailored to me, answering all of my questions as we went along. I would need a few cavities filled and all four quadrants of my mouth deep cleaned inside and out (as suspected).
Based on previous experiences with this I expected at least 3 visits probably totaling 4 or 5 hours in the chair. I was happy to see the treatment plan only called for two visits and delighted that each visit took just about an hour. The procedures were about as painless as they could possibly be. Dr. Randhawa is highly skilled, efficiently working through my treatment plan while making sure I received the best care possible. Her assistant Abe was great! Also very friendly, he helped keep me comfortable while assisting.
With these three visits completed I have to say I couldnât be happier with the service! Itâs great to have finally found the right practice for me and my mouth couldnât feel better for it. Special thanks to Stephanie for taking the extra time to take care of me in the beginning and thanks to Dr. Randhawa and the amazing staff at Midtown Dental Care for the...

A younger dentist who has been practicing for a couple of years with the previous dentist has taken over the practice and at first I had mixed reviews about the practice from my first two visits, but my last visit made up for the other two.
At first, regarding teeth cleaning, I felt like the doctor was pretty rough on the teeth, especially compared to previous dentists I've had who were a bit gentler. She also told me that i had two cavities which needed to be refilled. In general, I'm pretty skeptical of procedures, but I ended up getting the basic fillings anyway.
During my appointment for the fillings the doctor was also pretty rough on the teeth and I probably had my first scary and uncomfortable dentist experience ever due to having a small jaw and high sensitivity in one my upper teeth caused by grinding. Afterwards I had to wait maybe an hour to get my insurance information to process. It seemed a little slow and unorganized although the front ladies were very nice and easy to talk to.
Post procedure my teeth hurt a lot and my jaw was super sore, two things that had never happened after my past fillings. Two weeks later... my mouth still hurt and it hurt to chew on the side where my fillings were.
I called to express my concern and although the doctor was on vacation, she did call me back the next week and told me to come in immediately to get my tooth examined. I couldn't come that day and her office actually followed up with me and told me of a cancellation the next morning. I came in and she immediately shook my hand and asked how I was feeling and expressed concern. She apologized for being on vacation and looked at my tooth. She found the root of the problem, which was just that a placement was too high and my tooth had been worn down from grinding.
She was extra gentle this time around and noticed my discomfort. She helped put me at ease and my entire experience was different from the first time.
Overall, she cares a lot about her patients and will go the extra mile to fix any problems they may have and expresses genuine concern which...
Read moreGreat Place! I carry a lot of anxieties around going to the dentist and after Corona I finally decided it was time to face the music. I came in for a checkup and ended up having a BUNCH of cavities. Oof! However, Dr. Randhawa did everything to make me feel better about needing fillings and was very warm and friendly. I got the first couple of teeth fixed on the same day and quickly was given an appointment to finish the remaining teeth. Everything was efficient and painless. During the procedures Dr.Randhawa regularly took short breaks and asked if I felt any discomfort, wich was very reassuring. The staff is great too! Pema, the Dental Hygienist who did my cleaning, was very friendly and non-judgemental. And believe me, I felt plenty guilty for having avoided the dentist for so long. But with her it was all about building better habits for the future rather than being scolded. At the front desk, Jason and Stephanie greeted me in the best way and I very quickly felt comfortable. Everything from booking appointments to transparent pricing was handled very well. They all seem like a little âfamilyâ - Itâs not a huge office. I liked that a lot, because it felt very personal and now I really feel comfortable just calling up and quickly making an appointment should I have any issues...
