Met some friends for lunch there yesterday and look forward to returning. Food was great, atmosphere was super chill and their COVID precautions were great. As a heads up, they are cash only, but there is an ATM in the restaurant and there is no fee to use it. There are also super cute little houses outside for maybe a party if 4. Super cute, it was just a little chilly so we opted for inside.
Covid Measures: Temp taken at check in, all staff wear a mask, disposable utensils are provided, there are plastic dividers up between all tables inside and out.
Food & Bev: Very very happy overall. Two of us got the tortilla soup and it was SO good. Two of us also got the burrito bowl - also super yum! The portion size was so big that we both took our leftovers home. We also got the mini nachos which was a great starter. Margaritas were also really tasty. We appreciated they don't use marg mix and rather use fresh like juice. They also have a great happy hour! $4 draft beers and specials on many other drinks.
Overall, great experience. They weren't too busy, which was a bummer since we had such a nice, chill time. Go bring them some...
Read moreEl Santo was a great local spot I’ve frequented for years, ever since they opened. However, I can’t recommend this spot anymore. The service is lacking and the portions are reduced drinks and food wise. They serve draft beers in mason jars that are often only filled about 3/4 of the jar, and their food is mediocre at best. I ordered mini nachos and was given a grand total of 8 chips. I get it, it’s a smaller version of the regular nachos they serve, but since their regular version is pretty sizable, I thought it would at least be half the size, it wasn’t enough for $11 in my opinion. Their menu lists options for toppings like extra cheese or meat, my server didn’t ask for any at all and to top it off they didn’t give me the correct change, they took a little change in cents but when you make small mistakes like that it really makes you feel undervalued as a customer. Their tacos are still good, but everything else has gone downhill. Servers and bartenders turn over a lot, none...
Read moreI went to this establishment because they market it as a Mexican restaurant so we ordered Birria tacos and drinks. The tacos was horrible!! I never knew a taco could be so bad. It was no taste or seasoning. I asked for salt and pepper and was given 2 salt packets and 4 pepper packets. (Now I’ve never asked for salt and pepper for any meal. I’ve also never received packets of salt and pepper while dinning in). The servers took some time to initially take our orders. The margaritas were not the best. Honestly I paid and left the food and drinks there I tried so had but it...
