El Valle — Restaurant in New York

I visited 1017 Westchester Ave in Bronx NY, which evidently shows up on Google as this location, and had a negative experience thanks to their rude vulgar illegal male delivery man who apparently cleans their windows too. I tried to enjoy my pork roast that was good except I was given flimsy plastic cutlery even though I specified I would be dining in when my autistic friend showed up and stood by the doorway waiting for the rude employee in question to move for him to pass. I walked to the entrance where they were at behind a glass wall and heard the male employee demanding (not asking) my friend move so I intervened and asked the male employee who seemed agitated what the issue was and he stated rudely that if he (my friend) didn’t move that he’d get police involved who incidentally were sitting eating their food a few tables away. I asked the rude male employee why would he be rude and asked him to either make way for my friend to pass or wait because he was waiting for him to move completely out of the way. I also explained to him that my friend did not think like him and had mental issues which seemed to aggravate the rude male employee further and he threatened again he’d call the police over to remove both of us in anger. I was offended and explained to female counter staff what he had just threatened us for and informed them that my friend was autistic waiting for him to move completely out of the way but their employee insisted he “needed to clean the Crystal” which was the window. (Who refers to glass like that?!) I added he had been overtly rude that I no longer wanted to finish my meal and turned it in to them placing it in the counter. A few female employees apologized for their rude male employee’s behavior and pretended everything was fine when fact is it’s unprofessional and inappropriate for us their paying customers be mistreated in such a disrespectful manner. I blame the lack of management who clearly didn’t do their due diligence on their foul mouthed male employee because it’s clear he does not deserve to be employed anywhere near paying customers and most likely an illegal with a criminal past judging from his lack of character and poor choice of behavior. I have been to this location numerous times and I have to say.... it needs improvement on a couple of things. The restaurant is small but with every visit I have made theres never been a time where it was packed and your not able to get a table or have to wait for one. Upon entry you'll notice the display of grilled chickens being cooked and a long counter where you can step up and order items to go. There is no hostess, you can just grab any table you'd like. The place is organized and kept clean, the Meñu is pretty basic and straight forward, the waitresses are friendly but straight forward as well. Prices are fair and the quantity of food is ok but the quality.... not so much. I ordered a simple salad and when I got that salad it looked sort of a bit frozen, as if it was made a day or two before and stored in the fridge or freezer til ordered. It had that wierd freezer taste to it, which was bad.... I couldn't eat it. There was more food apart from that salad and its was all ok.....just ok. Customer Restrooms where clean, this location has no Customer parking, accepts credit and debit cards, and does deliveries....

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PLACE!!!!!! First and foremost, when my bestie and I attended this restaurant not 1 or 2 but 4 WAITRESSES “took care” of us. I did not appreciate this at all because I like to be taken care of by only 1 waitress not random women coming up to my table.When we ordered certain that nfs from the menu they were either out or didn’t sell it. FALSE ADVERTISMENT! They did not bring us bread or avocado when we asked but everybody else got (yes I’m petty) Second, the food was worribly over seasoned. I ordered fried pork chops and rice and beans and my bestie ordered steak with onions with rice and beans and let me tell you it was the worst food we’ve ever had. Third, these waitresses would take 15-20 minutes to just bring us a dam water. I could have died with their overly seasoned food! We waited so long for to check that my bestie had to get up and get the check herself. At the end we decided to give only 1 waitress a tip because towards the end she actually treated us like human beings. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. BAD FOOD! BAD...
