I've been wanting to go to FalafaLafa for the longest time, the promise of a Kosher Falafel place which has Gluten Free Pita bread is a strong incentive for people with Celiac disease. There was a long line and wait, but they give attention to each customer, wanting you to have the food you want. They actually took great care to avoid cross contamination, and use Humus from a fresh batch to ensure nothing touched (we didn't even ask for this, they just offered once we ordered the GF Pita). So, on to the food, we ordered a Sabich Pita and Falafel portions. This is very simple food, nothing fancy - but this is why you always know if the place is good immediately, you can't cover up bad food - the first bite tells it all - and as an Israeli who has eaten many falafel balls - I can tell you, this is good falafel! Even my kids who are not the best eaters did not leave a single bite to spare, finished up their Pitot! Everything was super fresh and delicious. Highly recommend! Prices are decent!

A wonderful spot situated on bike route from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park. This is recommended for advanced fast cyclists due to traffic but a wide lane exists. That being said, this is one of the best falafels I have put in my tummy. Somehow low expectations always encounter something amazing 🤩. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside. However, the quality of the ingredients are top notch. I especially enjoyed the jalapeño & onions. But the special touch that brought it over the top was the cabbage & red beets. These last 2 toppings will add the POW 💥 POW to your pedals for speed. The portion is sizable & filling. Outdoor seating available & easy parking 🥇🥇

Nice job guys. WAs recommended this place from a client. Just a little hole in the wall, but really good. I had the falafel pita and my girlfriend had the falafel plate. Since we don’t get good falafel in Bali, this was a real treat. The guys were pretty typical New York - short, everything fast, didn’t go out of their way to be friendly, but they did their job and served up some great food in big quantities. Will definitely come back.

Superb Falafel and Salads.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from FalafaLafa, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. As a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine, I am always on the lookout for a place that serves top-notch falafel, and this place truly exceeded my expectations.

Let's start with the star of the show—the falafel. The falafel atFalafaLafa is simply superb. The falafel balls were perfectly crispy on the outside, while maintaining a moist and flavorful interior. Each bite was bursting with the harmonious blend of spices, and the falafel had a satisfyingly fluffy texture. It was evident that they were made with care and using high-quality ingredients. I couldn't get enough of them!

In addition to the falafel, the selection of salads at is remarkable. They offer a variety of fresh, vibrant salads that complement the falafel perfectly. From the delicious techina to the creamy hummus, each salad was bursting with authentic flavors. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the dressings were well-balanced, enhancing the overall taste of the dishes.

Furthermore, the menu offers a wide range of options, catering to various dietary preferences. Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or have specific dietary restrictions, you'll find something delicious to suit your needs. They also offer a good selection of sides and beverages to complete your meal.

Overall, I can't recommend  FalafaLafa enough. I have been going there for years without any issues. The trick to this success is that the owner is there making sure everything is right. Their falafel is outstanding, and the salads are a delightful accompaniment. The combination of superb flavors, attentive service, and the convenience of takeout make it a top choice for a satisfying Middle Eastern meal. If you're a falafel lover like me, be sure to give them a try—I guarantee you won't be...

Disappointing Falafel Experience, But Great Staff

If you're going to specialize in falafel, you better bring your A-game. Unfortunately, this place didn't quite deliver. First off, the bread wasn’t fresh, which really took away from the overall experience. The falafel itself lacked the crispiness and flavor I was expecting, and the vegetables looked a bit old and stale.

The price was also on the higher side for what you get. Brooklyn has no shortage of great kosher spots, and unfortunately, this one doesn’t even come close to the top. To make matters worse, the Amba sauce was poorly applied—whoever was making my falafel didn’t shake the bottle, so I ended up with mostly watery sauce on top and none of the thicker, flavorful sauce at the bottom. Little details like that can make or break a meal.

That said, I do want to give credit where it’s due—the workers were great. They were friendly and efficient, and I could tell they were trying their best. But despite their efforts, the falafel just didn’t cut it for me.

If I were starving and had no other choice, I’d consider going back. But given all the other amazing options in Brooklyn, this place would be at the very bottom...
