If you come to opposite side of lake you can reach the beach (not good for swimming reason if any) but just to stay close to the water - you can see a lot of holes where crabs are hiding. If you have a choice to choose between this place and Jamaica Bay Wildlife refuge for example, Jamaica will be much more better choice.
