I was addressed in Spanish which I understand may have been an assumption based on appearance. When I gently responded in my native language to hint I’m from a different culture the staff member continued to speak to me in Spanish despite my clear indication that I did not understand it.

While I am not offended by being mistaken for another ethnicity,. I do find it inconsiderate to persist in speaking a language that is neither mine nor one I understand.
