Fort Washington Bakery & Deli — Restaurant in New York

I can't speak as to the quality of the rest of this place, but I paid nearly $12 for a BEC on an everything bagel and felt like they shook me down.

Unmemorable. Nearly devoid of American cheese to where it had me questioning if it was there at all. As dry as the Gobi. Any flavor came from the bacon, which is serviceable, but still hardly worth mentioning.

It's difficult to want to venture out and try anything else from here if they can't even compete with a bodega BEC, especially at more than double the price. Maybe their pastries are better than their bagels, I don't know, but their bagels weren't anything to write home about. Everything bagels usually taste like something, not nothing.

It's painfully unclear on where to order. The guy behind the counter cooking just ignored me while the register was empty, so I just stood there like the John Travolta meme looking lost until someone showed up.

Probably won't be returning. The customer service in this neighborhood is notoriously unfriendly, but this place feels colder than a...

i grew up coming to this bakery. but moved and didnt come back for a while. I visited the other day for their amazing crossaints and they were still amazing but the thing is the owner the lady thats always there in the AM , keeps over charging 1 dollar more etc. people in a rush dont notice but i did. the other day i went by order a sausage egg and cheese. which is 3.75 i told her i wanted a extra sausage which in their menu it aays 1 dollar extra...she charged me 1.75 extra for that sausage. yes its only 75 cents but if you do the count to whoever she keeps doing this to which is more likely rushing people or people she dont know. just be on point with their menu prices and what she charges you because they do charge tax ...smh. ridicolous but afterall freat bakery but i just think they are tooooo...

This Latino run deli and bakery is around the corner from me.They have the best bagels in the area hands down! The service is friendly,fast and efficient.They never screwed up my order and it's always cooked well.Ive had a few muffins that were delicious but could have been fresher.Ive also had their monster chocolate chip m&m cookies and they are delicious.They get crowded but I'm usually walking out around 5 mins average...
