NL (English review below): Ik ontmoette Emmanuel tijdens onze trip naar NY met een vriendin. We boekten een 2u durende Instagramtour met gids en professionele fotograaf via Get Your Guide. Emmanuel werd ons toegewezen als gids en fotograaf.

WAT EEN PRACHTIGE ERVARING!

Voor onze trip stuurde Emmanuel me al een bericht ter bevestigen van het uur en de plek waar we elkaar zouden ontmoeten. Ondanks dat we uiteindelijk toch 15 min later waren, wachtte hij ons geduldig op op de afgesproken plek. Zo'n fotoshoot is voor ons altijd wat ongemakkelijk in het begin, maar die zenuwen waren best snel weg en we kregen ook de vrijheid om extra foto's te trekken op andere locaties. Tijdens de route kregen we ook uitleg bij de vaste stopplaatsen van de tour. Ons enthousiasme én dat van Emmanuel maakten dat hij ons extra plekjes deed ontdekken.

Uiteindelijk namen we niet alleen afscheid van een superfijne en zeer interessante persoon, maar we kregen bovendien ook prachtige foto's van een mooie herinnering.

WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

Before our trip, Emmanuel already sent me a message confirming the time and the place where we would meet. Even though we ended up being 15 min late, he patiently waited for us at the appointed place. Such a photo shoot is always a bit uncomfortable for us at the beginning, but those nerves were gone pretty quickly and we were also given the freedom to take additional photos at other locations. During the route, we were also given explanations at the tour's fixed stops. Our enthusiasm as well as Emmanuel's made us discover additional spots.

In the end, not only did we say goodbye to a super nice and very interesting person, but we also received beautiful photos of a great memory.

Emmanuel is a great tour guide! I did a tour through the neighbourhoods of New York with him and enjoyed it a lot. I am 29 years old and I was on my own in that tour - don’t hesitate to do the same :) I learned a lot about New York in only one day, and saw things I couldn’t have done myself in such a short time! I directly did that tour on my first day and first time ever being in the U.S. - I can recommend that too, because you enjoy and see a lot even though you might still have jet lag or tiredness if your travel.

My wife & I took a nighttime tour of the 9/11 Memorial and Brooklyn Bridge with Emmanuel in late October. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Besides being a great guy, he was extremely knowledgeable and was able to give our group some interesting tidbits & insight about the sights that we visited on our tour path, things that you can’t read about in a book.
