Foteh's Tandoori — Restaurant in New York

I ordered  2 lugman for iftar. But for  some reason it  did not taste good that day. It just did not smell good as well. Nobody  wanted to eat any of that lagman at the dinner. I called the lady and said the lugman was not like it used to be and it tasted funny, she  told me to come back with the food. She wasn't  very nice on the phone. I came back to return  the food. Honestly,  I felt so bad that I was doing that. I even apologized  for bringing  it back and said that it just wasn't  good today. I was hoping  they would replace  it with another dish or something. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Uzbek restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel welcome. The food was simply outstanding — rich flavors, generous portions, and beautifully presented.

The plov was perfectly cooked, fragrant, and full of authentic taste. The samsa and shashlik were also exceptional — tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Every dish tasted fresh and made with care.

I really like this spot . It is a small space with only some tables to sit in, but there are plenty of wonderful choices when it comes to food. They transport you to Uzbekistan with their spices, dishes and beautiful porcelain plates and bowls where they serve their food. Family business with nice people working in. I enjoy it dining in or ordering out. Some of my favorites are lagman, plov, shurpa soup. I also enjoy their cheburek, samsa with greans and different bread types.
