Frame Gourmet Eatery — Restaurant in New York

this is in regard to the incident happened on 09/08/18 around 7o clock. i have been coming to this deli since when its newly renovated and is one of my favorites since that's the only option near by to me. i went inside this deli today at around 7 and was looking for a Spanish guy who makes my sandwiches for me because i normally come same time in evening. i saw him since he was busy i thought of using the rest room and then comes downstairs to order my food. i was ordering my food and suddenly they guy at the register came up and started yelling at me for no reason and being offensive. since he see me often, he knows that i buy food and also comes to use the rest room upstairs. i spent mostly $20 to $30 every day (sometimes in morning or in evening) he started telling me to get out and saying i dont want you to be here. you use rest room and go we dont want to sell you. i dont understand why he did that knowing that i am from around the area. he came close to me and started harassing me by saying i will hit you,he took his cap off and was trying to scare me. go out i stood there call 911. he also offended me by saying you dont want to buy where as i already ordered my food still he kept shouting at me. he also passed racist comment to me and verbally abused me. he is short height was wearing green cap. i never spoke to him else greeting him when i pay at the end saying hi, how are you. he was always rude but never payed much attention to it because it doesn't matter how he wants to react. there so many other people who stands at register who are sweet greet you nice and satisfy customers i want to speak to the owner/person who looks after this place. i will not spare this guy and will not take the comments he made to me.

i never abused him nor said anything bad. he always makes faces and ignored. i am traumatized and extremely humiliated in front of other people. i want business to check the camera and take action against the guy otherwise i will go further take a legal action against the business. nobody has the right...

Very rude establishment…I never knew! I Went here with friends on lunch, we had already bought food elsewhere prior but decided to take it to frame and eat it due to the tourist nightmare that is 7th Ave. I typically go to Frame for lunch and the staff is usually inviting and friendly in most cases so I didn’t feel this would be a problem being as though I had bought something from them before sitting down. The Spanish woman at the counter looked at me and my friends as if we were diseases and it honestly was borderline racist. I asked her if we could eat our food in the cafe really fast and she said we are closing. I told her we would be fast and be out before closing. Instead of telling us that they were closing as we ate, she had the staff turn off the lights and then waited by the door with a wooden stick giving us dirty looks as we walked out. This is not the Frame Cafe that I remember going to on all of my lunch breaks previously and I will NEVER step foot in there again if this is the type of behavior that the workers will distribute. I accept wrong in my faults but there are certain ways to go about certain situations. ESPECIALLY in these times! And then on top of that, there was a dead roach in the corner still after the cleaner finished cleaning...

This is my "go to" place for breakfast and lunch. The owners and staff are extremely pleasant and attentive. I walk in on workdays, say good morning and get a sincere and friendly hello right back. The associate who manages the coffee bar makes my iced coffee perfectly...just preps it when he sees me walk in. Going to the grill station that prepares breakfast is my next stop. The guys who makes my breakfast sandwich or everything bagel with vegetable or salmon cream cheese spread, knowing exactly what I will order. Great freshly tossed salads at lunch with add ins and then chopped are great. Also carries top brands and special packaged gourmet items. Prepared foods bar is excellent. The eatery is spotless and well maintained. Helps me start my day in a great way! Thank you my Frame friends...and if you are in the Times Square / Fashion District area, make a point to stop in FRAME...you will not be...
