Was craving some pizza and pass by and thought why not. I saw that it was a resturant and had a few people in there so I said it must be good. I like that one of the men working behind the counter was welcoming. As soon as I enter he acknowledged us . He spoke and ask if we had any questions. I took some time then I asked. We sat in the dining area and waited. A waitress came over pretty quickly but we told her we were waiting for the pizza. The service was good. We got a pie with half cheese and half pepperoni. The pizza was fresh as he said it would be. However it was a little salty for me and soggy that the cheese was melting off. My BF said this was normal for it to be soggy and the cheese and pepperoni falling off as it just came out of the oven. The pizza was $23 and with a drink came up to $26. It was 8 slices for the pie.

Edit: August 2024

After purchasing pizza in manhattan, I said Franks is way better.I now realize the cheese falling off and it being soft is the best part. Thus I've...

DO NOT GO HERE! Just left this establishment. Quite busy which is to be expected on a Friday night. Waited patiently for several minutes for my turn while the cashier was assisting two women in front of me. In walks another customer who went directly to the counter to look at a menu. When he finished he waited to be served. One of the workers (perhaps the manager) who made eye contact with me SEVERAL times and NEVER even said a hello instantly greeted and assisted the gentleman. As a black customer in an all white establishment WHAT ELSE AM I TO THINK. My business was NOT wanted nor valued there. I immediately walked out. No need to cause a scene. No need to demand respect or service. Our business is NOT wanted there. If this matters to you whoever you are or look like then I URGE you, do NOT invest in this establishment. I'm sure there are plenty of other friendly and welcoming businesses in the area! 2022! Come on already!...

Great authentic Brooklyn pizza!

I was passing through the neighborhood yesterday on my way to a meeting & needed to grab something quick to eat because I hadn't eaten. I knew a good slice was what I needed but I wasn't familiar with the area. I found Frank's on Google Maps & saw that it had a 4 & 1/2 Star rating so I knew this would be the place. Plus it was right on the way to where I was driving.

I could tell when I walked in that this is the neighborhood spot for pizza & Italian. Grabbed a quick slice to eat on the way and from the first bite it was fantastic. Super crispy crust, the melted mozzarella was lightly browned on top, and the sauce was that perfect combination of sweet & tangy.

That was exactly what I was looking for! It's getting harder to find real old-school pizza shops that make traditional NYC pies & slices to go.

So now I know another "go to" place when I'm in Brooklyn &...

Frank's! One of our neighborhood Pizzeria/ Restaurants. The service is superb. The food is delicious. They bring you warm bread with cold butter, so tasty. Refreshing beer or House Zinfandel ! We start with appetizers a Sicilian slice to share And gooey crunchy delicious mozzarella sticks ! Recommended dishes are the Penne Primavera. Every vegetable is tasty. The sauce is fresh and delicious! Baked ziti and eggplant Parmesan also recommended! The price is reasonable! Always a good meal. Highly recommend!

This is hands down the best pizzeria in Brooklyn. The crust is absolutely perfect and the cheese is the kind of hot you can only get with an old school good oven. Frank's is an authentic as New York gets. He's a tip if you are going to dine in, instead of ordering a soda for everyone for $1.50 just order a 2lt bottle for $3.
