Fresh Market Gourmet Deli — Restaurant in New York

I used to come here around 6 years ago. The hot a la carte spanish cuisine was quite decent. Now its absolutely atrocious. The Spanish food they now cook is not very good. They now keep raspy rice with grains that crack your teeth if not careful, greasy and fatty meats, pork that is greasy, crusty, and unappetizing, plantains that are not sweet; but hard, and the chicken is lackluster, and just the cheapest legs, and wings. My father just brought me two dishes in the last two days. 9/20/2021 -9/22/2021. Their hot kitchen is no longer decently tasty. Food strictly only good for a galley prisoner. I miss the older, and superior menu, and cooking. This reeks unfortunately. Sad how things that are good dissappear. Glitzy and shiny new, is not always better! Seems the customers are only impressed by nitrite and nitrate cured deli meats, and beer, instead of what was quite good home cooked natural food, which has seriously decayed in taste,...

Shout out to this Deil store! Alex the guy behind the counter he an awesome guy 😎 & the late night cook mahbub that make my favorite sandwich very well! I always get a chop cheese double meat, pepper 🌶️ & onion 🧅 pepper jack cheese, 🧀 spring mix 🥬 tomato 🍅 banana poppers, mayonnaise on one side & chipotle mayo on the other!
