du method — Local services in New York

I don't know how I've never reviewed du method, because I recommend this place to all my friends. I have normal/dry skin and my goals are anti-aging. Marta is a skin genius. I've gotten a bunch of different facials here ('red carpet ready,' 'beyond botox,' 'I clean up nice' when I had a skincare emergency, and 'new face').

Let me say: the purifying facial saved my skin after I severely messed it up before my brother's wedding (nightmare situation). Marta told me exactly what to do so that horrible cystic acne would calm down as much as possible before the event — she worked wonders so amazing that I even got compliments on my skin from other bridesmaids when days before I'd been breaking out like crazy. I don't think any other place could have been so on point, balancing enough extractions to be effective but not too intense as to make the problem worse right before a big event. If you have damaged your skin barrier/have an active weird breakout.. come here!

My all time favorite facial was the new face/microneedling. I'm trying to put off being a botox regular, and I swear this treatment made me look 5 years younger.

I'm writing a long review, because facials are expensive, especially in the city and not all of them are worth it....

I just had my first (ever!) facial with Ashley and it was such a wonderful experience. Ashley was warm and educated me throughout the process, answering all my questions while providing a truly relaxing and restorative treatment. The atmosphere was lovely and all the facial massage was heavenly. Ashley helped to address some dryness/redness I've been experiencing this winter. I left with a glow and today my skin looks moisturized and bright! Additionally, Ashley gave me advice on what skincare/makeup products may be hurting/helping my skin, so I know how to take better care of it going forward. So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood and can't wait...

I made an appointment to get the "i clean up nice" facial at du method after seeing it pop up on my neighborhood's IG account. And I'm so glad I did! Marta is awesome and you can just tell that she loves what she does. She is full of information and had answers for all my questions about my skin that has been acting up recently. She walked me through what the service would entail, made sure I was comfortable with the procedures and checked in here and there but also let me just relax and immerse myself in the journey - because that's exactly what it was. I felt rejuvenated afterwards and so did my skin. Looking forward to our next...
