Galway Hooker Bar — Restaurant in New York

Nothing incredibly special, but nothing wrong with it either. Tap beer list could use some help, but you can find some just fine craft beers on draft. Drinks aren't cheap, but they're not expensive and happy hour runs till 8:00. Environment is pleasant enough, not trying to hard but not dingy. It's has three levels which is also a novelty, including a second floor loft reminiscent of a frat house (for better or for worse).

So it's a nice enough cheapish bar, no pretense, palatable drinks, and it happens to be in a great neighborhood. There are a lot worse...

The overall appearance of the bar is fine. You walk in and immediately know it is a college style bar. The drinks are standard. Beer selection is fine. What really is terrible is the setup for the bathrooms. When I was washing my hands someone comes in and the door slams into me. A fan of the place when all the floors are open. Prices are reasonable and seating is normally easy to get if you want a table. But when the upper floors are locked down for an event this place is a trap, the first floor is not a good hang out bar and if the up stairs is closed for an event this is not a place you want to spend more...
