Gantry Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

Gantry is a favorite local bar. It's one of my go-to places for watching sports (mainly soccer) but also great for date nights or hangouts with friends. It was the first bar my boyfriend and I went to when we moved to the neighborhood years ago and when I suggested it for our wedding rehearsal dinner, we figured it would be a nice, casual welcome party but it was even better. When we talked to Paula, she was so genuinely kind and helpful with organizing the event. The event itself far exceeded our expectations. Nice bar and restaurant with indoor and dog-friendly outdoor seating. They have a couple TVs inside and they also set up a TV outside to watch sports. There was only one waitress serving all of the tables and she was curt and didn’t have the nicest attitude, but that’s probably because she was stressed and overworked (so I don’t blame her). That issue aside, I had a spicy jalapeño margarita (which was REALLY delicious and I highly recommend), draft beer, and chicken quesadilla. The food was good and so was the portion size. Omg where to even begin?! But basically one of the most rudest if not the rudest bartender i have ever experienced with! The bartender literally served my friends and I with the most disgusting attitude like if she was having a bad day and then decided to take her anger out on us! When we asked her for more drinks she legit rolled her eyes and completely forgetting about us which we had to remind her TWICE! that we hadn’t gotten our drinks yet! so everyone, unless you guys want to be treated with horrible service, please don’t come here! There are many other bars around the area that are way better...
