The UPS Store — Local services in New York

This place is the absolute worst. Avoid at all costs unless you are conducting a study in employee incompetence and fraud. This place truly represents what happens when mom and pop stores are pushed out of neighborhoods and replaced by corporate franchises with low-skill employees who don't care about their jobs. A simple attempt to mail a package resulted in months of back and forth, fraud, lies and countless wasted hours. If you have them pack up a box for you, make sure you watch them do it! I paid for a 24x24x12 box and the exorbitant shipping costs associated with it, then they went and packed my item in a 20x20x10 box, where it arrived obviously broken. Cut to three months later, and I'm still fighting with the fraudulent liars at this store about my refund for the (fully insured) package. AVOID...

Stay away from this place. Rude and unapologetic personnel. I specifically asked for a 35x45 mm photo for a foreign photo ID, which they do make as I later found out, but the store clerk adamantly insisted on making only the regular 2x2 inch photos and sending me away to a CVS that's 30 mins away. I called back later that day to ask if they could print my image smaller on a 2x2 so that I could cut it myself (the CVS location had their printing machine down). Guess what they told me on the call? You guessed it - they did make 35x45 after all. I came back to the location only to hear no apologies with a rude repetition "we misheard you." Well, people get fired for smaller offenses. Save yourself some time and don't use this location.

ABSOLUTELY 110% DISGUSTING ! The elderly Lady that is in charge at this office is EXTREMELY OUTSTANDINGLY DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE. I was a customer at this location and I witness that lady being SO nasty and rude to a customer that called in with an inquiry. The Lady was talking down to the customer, yelling not allowing the customer to state their problem, then she hung up on said customer. I just walked out because NO WAY DO I WANT SOMEONE LIKE THAT HANDLING MY MAIL. SHE WAS UTTERLY DISGUSTING AND I WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY HER BEHAVIOR TOWARDS A PAYING CUSTOMER !
