Centro Pizza Bar & Italian Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

Here’s a nice with you that you may want to read but my name is panda that’s what everyone calls me, but my visit to the Italian kitchen in Pizza bar was pretty amazing. Now keep in mind, I did use an app called toogoodtogo and my experience was fasting pretty quick.

Now, for the selections a pizza that was given to me was a surprise bag and I only spent $5.99 I believe using the TooGoodToGo App. Yeah keep in mind this at the end of the business hours and they were still busy but check out my photos. I was given four slices of pizza and to be honest I never had one of these selected choices that the restaurant decide to give me. The staff was very polite and always smiling.

But the surprise of this with you was that I came here before to pick up a vegetarian pizza and it was pretty good but that was about two months ago and I did not write a review for that but now I have a chance to do the right thing and talk about an amazing Italian kitchen in Pizza bar in Long Island city and I think everyone should...

This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. While preparing food, one of the pizza kitchen workers kept staring at my wife like a sadistic psychopath in a way that made us very uncomfortable. When I mentioned this to another worker, instead of addressing the behavior, he excused it by saying the man “just lost his girlfriend.” That is not a justification for making customers feel uncomfortable — especially families coming in for a simple meal.🤬

On top of that, after we specifically asked for the pizza not to be overcooked, the same worker burned it anyway. We then had to wait an extra 10 minutes just for two slices. Not to mention there were rats in the garden with visible rat traps!!!! Completely unprofessional service. All I wanted was a slice of pizza without being disrespected or kept waiting, and this place failed on every level. Do not bring your wife and family here if you don’t wish to be subjected to mentally ill behavior that staff allows 👎🏼nor rats 🐀...

Celeste & Claudio Our rehearsal dinner - 10-11-18, Intermission before our wedding reception 10-13-18 at Centro's food was delicious. From one excellent dish to another the food was amazing as it always is. Claudio and I always get a bite to eat when we're in Long Island City there. And its not just your average slice of pizza it tastes so good they really know how to make every bite savor in your mouth. Their sauce is exceptional! We had our rehersal dinner here 25 of us everyone loved the food and atmosphere . Steve and his staff were great as they always are. Then 2 days later we had them do it all again for our guests between the church and the reception hall. Everyone said the food was great. If your looking for a place for good food, nice atmosphere, good portions and prices, owner and staff who remember you and always welcome you Centro's is the place to go. Look no further for lunch or dinner tonight. Thank you all for making our special days...
