Gong Cha — Restaurant in New York

MOST RUDE SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!! This is usually my go to spot for Gongcha and so I placed an order on the app for two drinks at least 20 minutes before dropping by the store to pick it up. I parked my car by a hydrant as parking is very hard to find in that area and ran in assuming I could just pick up my order. I walked in and nobody else was there but the server. I’m not sure what her name is but she wears glasses and has blond hair. She was making a drink and so I waited about a minute and she asked me to give a minute as she was making drinks. I then waited about 30 seconds and said “I’m so sorry but I’m actually here to pick up an order. I’m just in a bit of a rush.” She then looked at me and said “You can see that I’m making them right now.” At first I was baffled because I didn’t expect that tone but I responded nicely saying it wasn’t my order and showed her my order. She responded saying she cancelled it because she didn’t have the ingredients for one drink and then proceeded to walk away to continue making the said previous order. I was shocked that she hadn’t even offered to make another drink or take another order but I guess she was annoyed that I interrupted her in the first place. I understand that being the only server can be a little overwhelming at times but I know I didn’t pressure when I asked the question, I simply wanted to run in and out as I had before several times because I ordered ahead. The app also didn’t notify me the order was cancelled and I’m not sure what the store policy is about calling to let the person to let the customer know their order was cancelled but I would’ve appreciated a kinder response as someone who was in a bit of a time crunch. In person I didn’t escalate the issue because another customer had walked in at that point and I still needed to run back to my car but I would recommend not going here if you’re in a hurry and they can’t make your drinks because even politely asking if you can quickly grab your order isn’t taken kinda by the staff. Overall, I really do love the bubble tea here, and I'm so glad this location is so close by! The only issues with this location are that they're always out of bubbles up to 3 hours before closing on any given day and that the one blond girl at the counter cares so little about her job that it consistently ruins my little treat.

Literally every other staff member is wonderful and kind and they're super fast and the order is always right.

It's just her, and somehow everytime I go when she's there my order is messed up. The first time I thought it might have been the way I ordered bc I was a bit tired, but now it's been several times that my drink is 80% ice, it's the wrong size, or something else. I often visit this Gong Cha place, but today my family bought four cups of milk tea. Later, my niece saw an employee giving a customer a coffee sticker that was selling advertisements. My niece asked the employee if she could give me a coffee sticker, but the employee said there was no more. After listening to my niece's talk, I went back to the store and called the manager to come out. Then the employee said that the manager was not in the store, and immediately gave me two coffee stickers. I asked these two employees, didn’t you tell my niece that they didn’t have any?
