This store is usually great, however, the older guy that usually wears a hat doesn’t know how to make anything on the grill. Sandwiches either look like they were thrown together with anger, lack meat or toppings, or is completely made a different way after having you repeat your order 7-8 times. When you try to raise concern with him, he gets an attitude. Any of the other chefs do pretty great and can hear just fine. It’d be great if they had a consistent chef so there’s a set expectation. Aside from him, the store usually has a lot of my favorite items.

They are deceitful. They serve the same food without changing it. All they do every morning is stir the same food only without offering anything new. The staff has always been friendly and the place is pretty clean for a bodega. I like to come here. A bee flew into the deli meat display and they took everything out just to get the bee out. That made me happy 😆🤷🏼‍♀️ There is also a friendly bodega cat.
