Horrible customer service under new management. It wasn't always like this, in fact I've recommended several people prior to my last visit, but never again. Supporting black businesses is my priority when seeking services, esp supporting black women, but Stag & Hen needs do get it together when it comes to professionalism and customer service. As a "manager" you should be acknowledging every single customer that walks through your doors and attend to unhappy customers. Better training for stylists too. I had to leave and go home and finish my own hair because of unsatisfactory work :/ really disappointed about that visit. Hopefully they will make changes for better business in the future. I had my first haircut in a loooong time at Stag and Hen with Maria. I'm really happy with the cut and direction we went thanks to her helpful input and guidance. She took the time to talk through what I wanted and to teach me tricks about how to style my natural curls. Now I know how to take care of my hair to keep it healthier. Made an appointment with Mary, who was very accommodating, even when I could not reschedule my appointment. Such a cool person, and such a great salon!! Made me feel very comfortable, and gave me the best dye job I’ve gotten since I started dying my hair about 5 years ago. Incredible service, great music, all around a really good experience.
