8/21/2025- Ordered 6 party breads (3 blueberry muffins and 3 croissants). Nothing fresh about this store. The 3 muffins were cold and obviously refrigerated since they did not sell the day prior. The croissants were not warmed as requested. Staff here ignores the added requests. Second time they do this to me. Lastly, reported to app, that croissant had a piece of paper inside and sent them the pic. I was fully refunded by app. NEVER EVER AGAIN will I buy from here. Lack of management and food quality checks.
6/9/2025- They keep doing it! They have NOT IMPROVED! Stay away from the cranberry scones. THEY WERE STALE. Bought one this morning along with blueberry muffins. They keep selling yesterday’s bread that does not sell the following day! They have lost my loyalty!
STALE BREAD CAKE SLICES SOLD HERE. Ordered morning breakfast and was so angry to receive stale bread. Literally rock hard!!! If you order their bread cake slices ensure to pinch your slice to ensure it is fresh and very moist!! I bet the left over bread not sold is used for next day retail and if one requests their cake slices heated, then they must think the bread is not that noticeable. WRONG! It is! Never again will I order delivery from this place ever again. The worst thing is the staff KNOWS exactly what they are selling you AND...
Read moreI visited this place because it had the highest reviews in the area and while it's not bad it's not more than a 3 star place.
The line is mostly unmanaged after your order. People hang around and some of the coffees come out of order so you have to listen up for what you paid for. The place is loud in the morning so it's hard to hear what they are calling out. If you don't order something somewhat unique then it may be picked up by someone else, or you may end up grabbing something someone ahead of you ordered.
I got their redeye, that's a cup of their house drip and a shot of espresso (it was a tired morning). It was really hot when I got it, hot enough that the second layer of paper didn't make it that much easer to hold and when it was cool enough to drink it had an underlying burn flavor which was quite a turn off. I didn't even end up finishing the coffee, it just wasn't worth the (literal) pain of carrying it around for the minimal reward of the drink itself. The next two mornings I just took a cup to go instead of coming back to Gregory's.
Perhaps New Yorker's are use to a lower grade of coffee? Perhaps left coasters like myself are picky? Either way the noise and quality of the coffee don't make it worth the stop when you can get the same level of coffee...
