Hacks Halal — Restaurant in New York

I had given this place a few chances but forced to give them a one star review and stop coming. I was a regular customer driving 1 hour from brooklyn spending over $100 until i was very disappointed when I bought the chipped up chicken fried rice from the buffet in front and got food poisoning. It was horrible. they mixed left over chicken seems from several days and cut it up and fry it with rice. When we examined the chicken it was NASTY. Smelled bad. not again sorry! here are somethings that i ignored previously and give them chances. 1. they increased the price if you sit down to eat even tough the menu that they give you has a lower price. 2. Some of the employees are very rude as if you are asking for free food. 3. importantly, they don't accept credit card which I think its against the law. Saying NO to credit card in a nice way by saying the machine is not working. Many other restaurants are accepting card and being polite to customers. Fresh food are healthy and godly. Please serve fresh food to customers. They are working hard for their money and wanted to enjoy a good meal with their family and they put their trust in you. Good luck with...

We had went to dine in, wanting to try something new and ended up being served cold food! You would think that if the customer is going to sit and eat, that they would at least serve and heat the food properly. Our waitress took forever to come and when we finally flagged the workers down, we had to tell them numerous times to heat up each individual item. On top of that, the workers and manager seemed to be upset that we asked for warm food! The manager even argued and claimed that the food should be warm because it was “fresh” and the “steamers are always at “165 degrees”. To end our experience, we were charged more than what was on the menu we were given! When we asked why there was a price difference, they claimed that apparently the prices were recently updated. So why was it not reflected in the menu or told to the customers beforehand ?! Instead of acknowledging their mistake in misleading the customer and apologize or provide some sort of discount, they had nothing else to say and allowed us to pay the full price! Man you would thing being in such a competitive place like liberty ave you would think the owner would pull it up but I guess not. Firstly, the girl that was suppose to be behind the counter serving people was in a booth on her phone and didn’t even notice me standing waiting for some service, took her about 3 minutes to look up to see a customer but okay. Then I decided to buy cheese rolls, but honestly I have nothing to say the picture speaks for itself. I understand ingredients are expensive but I’m also a believer that certain things in this world are suppose to be a special item. So if you have to raise prices to actually get cheese in my cheese roll please do so. I rather spend more money and know my food was worth it rather than pay money and have to throw it out, which is essentially wasting my money. This is so inexcusable. Also I obviously don’t recommend the cheese roll but I can’t take that...
