Hazel's 423 Food Truck — Restaurant in New York

So this was my second time eating from here and the second was no different than the first time. Im not happy at all. Very very salty both times. A little pricey for the size portion as well. Ordered coconut rice and got regular white rice instead, I guess they were out of coconut rice and instead of reaching out gave me what they had. I love to support my ppl but nah im good neverrrrr again. So unsatisfied i couldn’t even eat it all my head started hurting. I thought after the first time i was done, but decided to give it another try....

Just a southern girl from Louisiana craving a home cooked meal while visiting New York. The turkey wings tender and look very well seasoned, but it’s bland. The cabbage, bland. Greens are bitter. Cornbread taste like jiffy with A LOT of sugar. The Mac and cheese bland and bitter. Very disappointed on my meal and will not order from here again. A waste of my hard earned money. It has potential, but it seems as though a week visit in the south is needed to enhance the flavors in the food.

When the branding revolves around the name of the owner and photos of her, you'd expect great service and a personable demeanor. But Hazel is aloof and unfriendly to a lot of customers. I've heard it from someone else too. Food was good but the owner's unfriendly personality will keep me from eating there again. It's a shame because I want to support...
