I have to order from Henry's once a week and I always get the veggy pork bahn mi. The faux meat is tender and juicy. It always feels like they pile a lot in. And the pickled veg are so yummy and crispy. I'm vegetarian but the hubby eats meat. He ALSO orders the veg pork bahn mi because it's so good. I also like the smoothies. The taro one is basically dessert. Tastes like a taro milkshake. The mango one is super refreshing. I always call for pick up. And almost always the food is ready and waiting for me when I get there less than 10 mins later! We love Henry's!

I order the Pho with beef broth & grilled pork a lot. It's addictive. The garden and summer rolls with peanut & hoisin dip is also filling and delicious. Other items I enjoy here are the grilled pork sandwich (spicy, be careful it is very spicy!), the grilled pork with brown rice and pickled carrots & radish, and Sardine sandwich. They have a good selection of bubble teas as well. Great choices available if your vegetarian too. They have a counter to sit and eat at, takeout is most common, delivery available for orders of $10 and up.

A true gem in the neighborhood. The classic banh mi was excellent. Very authentic. The marinated ground pork, pickled daikon and carrot, pate and butter on fresh baguette all came together perfectly. Very generous with the meat. The rice with grilled pork with the dipping sauce (nuoc cham) was very good. The pork was also generous. We arrived just before closing time, the manager took our order no problem. Will be back to try other plates.

My five star is for their smoothies, and bubble tea.

This place is more like a Delli then a restaurant or sandwich shop, they have a few seats available, but no tables, and it looks like their main clientele are deliveries.

So while the known rivalry between the hanco's and Henry's helps pump up their business, (I wouldn't be surprised if Henry was in cahoots with the owner of hanco's) the bubble tea verdict is in: and the undisputed winner is, Henry's! Big time... Unlike hanco's where I couldn't finish my bubble tea, @henry's after finishing my first I was debating if I should order another, they have The perfect balance of sweetness, and the taste - I got lychee - was not overpowering. Oh! And last but not least, their taro smoothie with the colorful gummies were an added delight on a hot Sunday afternoon.

Henry's is one of our favorite places in Park Slope/South Slope! We order from here every week and even when we went whole food plant based, we were able to find choices that work.

Our old favorites of pork bahn mi and summer rolls were replaced with the vegetarian pork bahn mi and green papaya salad. Although, I still opt for the chicken and sardine bahn mi sandwiches because they're so good. Their spicy is really spicy, so we usually have "mild" to "medium".

Plus, the owners are so friendly and worked straight through the pandemic. For the quality, these bahn mi are a delicious bargain!

If you haven't been here, come...
