Now for the review 3 out of 5 stars quality of the food is lower than it could be and taste could be better. Nice and Friendly staff and the food was made pretty quick, everything came in paper bags and was properly packed. Inside They have two tables (they had boxes and stuff on them) but as the name states its more of a too go place then a sit down dine in restaurant. They said they are the same as the other Hunan in mill basin and on Kings Highway but it tastes nothing like them. Rice was good Not a fan of their brown and garlic sauce, it was sour like lemon and the sesame sauce is a little too much on the vinegar (but it was crunchy and tasted good), the beef had a gamey taste and was chewy, overall the food was 2 out of 5 stars, price is on the higher end but if you get some sort of special lunch or dinner it comes out to what chinese food costs these days. i wanted to like this place it just didn’t live up to chinese food in Brooklyn, I don’t plan on eating here again, maybe idd try it in a couple months to see if they changed the quality...
Read moreNice take out restaurant. Good portions and fresh ingredients. Had the sesame chicken w/ veg fried rice and wonton lunch special. Also added 2 veg egg rolls. The chicken was crispy and succulent. Very nice flavor. The rice was ok. Not the best. Kinda lumpy and needed a bit more veggies to call it a vegetable FR. It was closer to a soy sauce FR. The wonton soup was also good. Had 3 wonton in it and it was super hot and super fresh. Great flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and a good size. The inside could have been more well done but otherwise very tasty. Overall, a great take out joint that is clean and efficient. The order was fast and ready when I went to pick it up. I would definitely go back. I think this is the off shoot of the sister restaurant in Mill Basin. Parking is a nightmare so delivery might...
Read morePicked up Chinese for supper from here. The store is decently designed but definitely made to be more of a takeout place then eat in.
As for the food I have to say, they have really nailed it, the sesame chicken had that perfect blend of sweet and savory soy based sauce that we all love, and the wonton soup broth emanated deep umami flavor. My wife tried the general tso chicken and she also came away impressed, definitely on the sweeter side but still very solid flavor. The prices were very decent as well, me and my wife had a full meal with 2 mains, soup, egg rolls l, and rice and it was still under $50!
I Highly recommend this as a well priced Chinese option in flatbush and will definitely pickup food...
