I saw this spot with great varieties of bagels, and it seems like a popular spot. So, we decided to check them out one weekend. The inside was smaller than I expected, long and narrow. You can order fillings on a roll, bagel, or as make it a hero sandwich. They had so many cream cheese spreads, and also, vegan spread, Lox, egg, bacon, etc... They had a cute display on the wall with all sorts of bagels in rows of racks. Although, we didn’t see too many bagels there. The male staff greeted us as soon as we got there, and told us that they don’t keep too many bagels there on the racks, in order to keep them fresh. That makes total sense… So, if you don't see a particular kind of bagel you want, just ask them to see if they have more in the back. One thing about this place is that there is not spot to eat… Since it was a chilly day, we decided to just head home and have the bagels. The first bagel creation was chosen by my hubby. He went with Fresh Lox & Flavored Cream Cheese on Salt Bagel. And what kind of cream cheese did he get? Blueberry. Hmmm… Blueberry cream cheese with lox… It was actually not bad, the blueberry cream cheese was not so “fruity,” but cream cheesy. The bagel was good, but a bit tough. I went with more breakfast type, Sausage, Egg, & Cheese on Everything Bagel. It was quite tasty, and the bagel but much softer. Maybe because it was toasted? I really enjoyed this bagel! The staffs here, especially the male staff who made our bagel creations, was really nice. We felt welcomed and our business appreciated. We shall return for more in a near future!

EDIT: Closed on a Sunday morning with no notice. Very unfortunate. I would argue that Inwood Bagels has some of the best bagels in the whole city (not just uptown Manhattan). This is one of the only places that consistently has Egg Everything bagels. That bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese is amazing, just a fabulous flavor bomb that hits the senses. Consumed on a Saturday morning after hitting the farmer's market, a bagel of that combination is better than anything I've gotten elsewhere. Prices are reasonable and service is very quick and friendly. They're generally pretty generous with the cream cheese. And you gotta love the people who work here. Only criticism I have is that a friend once got a sandwich near closing, and the bagel wasn't the freshest (which makes sense). It's also very cool that this establishment participates in the Too Good To Go app, where you can get a surprise bag of food for like $5 at the end of the day. The first time we got a smattering of delicious pastries and the second time we got a MASSIVE bag of bagels, which we froze and ate over the course of a couple months.

I’ve been here a number of times and I like their bagels, sandwiches, and wraps. Unfortunately, they have a tendency to get my order wrong whether it’s online, in person, or I happen to order SIGNATURE sandwiches and wraps off THEIR OWN MENU! This is particularly infuriating considering all the times I had faith they’d get a CLEAR, SIMPLE, ORDER RIGHT!

The level of incompetence at this place is astonishing! Requesting an omelette or an egg sandwich should NOT be that complicated, yet it is!

Today I asked for an egg white omelette with turkey, spinach, and avocado (in a wrap). The woman who took my order appeared to understand after repeating it back to her upon request.

While I wait, I see what appears to be my order being prepared incorrectly. Turns out it was, and I told the cook I asked for an omelette; not egg whites with turkey, spinach, and avocado. He kindly prepared it again.

The woman up front calls me to pay, and I politely let her know my order was incorrect. Not only did this rude ignoramus take no accountability whatsoever, she moronically stated she doesn’t understand the issue, egg whites only come one way, and get this; that my order is right.

The ONLY reason my order is right is because I witnessed it being done WRONG after EXPLICITLY ordering an OMELETTE! After repeated attempts at making her realize the error of her ways, I realized she was too dense to understand and just paid. She then sarcastically says, I hope you have a nice day.

Well I sure as hell hope she learns what an omelette is for the sake of anyone else who has to deal with this cretin!

DO BETTER! It’s bad enough you’re pricier than most places in the area, smh!

How are you in the food service business and incapable of PROPERLY PREPARING FOOD and providing DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE?! Make it...

UBER EATS only has pick up option, so I loved that the main site allowed me for to order for delivery for $6.99 to my area (15mins away). Unfortunately I never received my order, got to speak with store rep (a male) twice to get updates why my order which was no longer trackable via the DoorDash link I received via text, he stated he accidentally marked the order as complete, but assured me twice my order was on the way since he spoke with driver himself and the driver confirmed they lost gps of my address when the store marked the order complete before delivery. 1.5 hours later no order, and when I tried contacting the store again, no response. No one answered the phones for the remainder of the day I tried calling from another number and they answered and hung up when I mentioned my order. I was left with no choice but to contact DoorDash the delivery provider for store site, and they even tried to contact the store to attempt to get a re-deliver (I was still willing to still keep the order) unfortunately DoorDash had no success reaching anyone at the store. My order had to be escalated in order to get a refund which is still pending. Door Dash informed my order would be refunded once Inwood Bagels “support team” responds back to them. Very unprofessional, and an unfortunate experience. I paid $29 for an order (sandwich and coffee) I never got to enjoy. The store has very poor...
